Salma Hayek continued to promote her latest movie ‘Puss In Boots’ by attending the premiere in Westwood, California this weekend.
The actress continues to showcase brands within the Gucci Group; this time she’s the first to wear a Bottega Veneta Spring 2012 dress.
I’m relieved that she opted for this chocolate brown, white and black chiffon one-shouldered dress.
As hard as she tries, edgy looks just don’t work for her.
Her dress was accessorized with a gold Alexander McQueen clutch and black peep-toe slingbacks.
Ombre Farrah-Fawcett-flippy locks and a nude lip colour completed her look.

love this look
I have been a vocal critic of Salma in the past but, strangely enough, I actually don’t mind her in this dress. Yes, the detaling is a little complicated but I feel as though the essence of the look (a one-shouldered cocktail dress) is simple enough for her to pull off. That dated hair, on the other hand …
I think this dress is ugly but she’s making it work.
I also think this dress is ugly. And the shoes aren’t helping. The only things I like are the hair and the make-up.
LOVE the dress!
Gorgeous look! I think it deserves a place in the BDOTW poll.
I don’t like the dress on the model that much but Selma looks beautiful in it. the black on the skirt isn’t so overpowering and blends with the brown better in her picture. The shoes and clutch are fab. I’m in two minds about the hair, i like that it is down but the flip is not necessary. Her beauty still shines through
This hairstyle is pretty unflattering for her but I like the dress. I hope she stays away from Mcqueen in the future.
I think she looks beautiful here. Love it.
I love her hair here.
She looks quite lovely. One of her better looks.
I think she looks fab! I especially love her hair and makeup-whats edgy about the dress??
Pretty dress hair and makeup. Not loving it with a gold clutch and would have preferred a more elegant shoe.
Dislike her shoe choice, would prefer something more interesting. Quite good overall.
This one shoulder, sleeveless, fitted waist, straight (but soft) skirt look is so flattering. Several of her best looks feature this silhouette. I really don’t even like the dress on the model but the espresso and mocha colors come alive on Hayek. But the hair, not loving the ombre Farrah.
This dress is perfect for Salma!!! I love that clutch but I hate those damn shoes. Overall, it is nice so I’ll take it as I don’t usually like her choices.
