Lana Del Rey attended the Q Awards earlier today in London.
The young singer wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2012 floral print dress to collect her ‘Next Big Thing’ Award at the ceremony which was held at the Grosvenor House Hotel.
If you’re feeling a slight sense of déjà vu, that’s because Sarah Jessica Parker wore a lookbook version of this dress whilst attending a photocall in London last month.
Lana teamed her slash neck, ¾ length sleeve dress with white brogues and large hooped earrings.
The side swept hairstyle, inspired by Salvatore Ferragamo and Betsy Johnson’s Spring 2012 runway shows, continues to be a current hot carpet hairstyle trend.

Absolutely beautiful… until the shoes. I just don’t like brogues very much. The dress is great and i love the slash neck and three quarter sleeves, her hair is perfect!

Had she went with the sleeveless version of the dress, I wouldn’t have mind the brogues. But she didn’t so she ends up looking like someone’s grandmother, especially with those shiny tights.
Not a fan of brogues in general but those white ones are just icky: It’s such a cute dress but the shoes are baffling.
I think she looks pretty damn good, not bad for the new girl! Although with her beautiful voice and songs, designers will soon be clamouring to dress her.
This look would have been perfect without those brogues…
