I absolutely knew Amanda Seyfried would be the first to wear a look from the Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 collection.
The actress worked the hell out of this psychedelic floral-print dress when she made her way down the red carpet for the LA premiere for ‘In Time’ last night.
Her violet drop waist dress with a plunging back and circle skirt looks even better with the harness belt, don’t you agree?
She also has the right attitude to pull off this look and I like the simple embellished sandals which allow me to focus on the dress.
A voluminous blow-out, smoky Kohl-rimmed eyes, nude lips and a silver bracelet completed this BDOTW-worthy look.

I was going to wear that first (albeit only in my head) on the red carpet!!! ;p
Anyway she looks great, I would have preferred her hair up in a full, bouncy ponytail because it would show off her face and hair as well as suit the sexy, edgy style of the dress.
The hair down makes the look pedestrian. I really like the fact that she’s wearing appropriate accessories and sandals tho.

But she is actaully the second to wear a piece from the Prabal Gurung Spring 2012 collection and the second to wear this dress. Joan Smalls wore it earlier this month to an event during Paris Fashion Week.

This is perfection. The dress brings out her gorgeous eyes and it suits looks gorgeous with her colouring. I also like how she has black accessories to keep this young and fresh and modern and season-appropriate, and how the black accessories coordinate with the khol. As beautiful as ehr hair is, I am debating whether or not she would look better with her hair in a high ponytail.

Love this! The belt was a great idea and her hair and make-up are just pitch perfect. The whole look brings out a whole different layer of her RC personality. Definitely something I haven’t seen in her before.
