Evan Rachel Wood wasn’t the only one to wear an Alessandra Rich look on the red carpet last night, as Solange Knowles did too.
I honestly thought this was Diana Ross on the red carpet at the 2011 Angel Ball at first glance.
The singer/DJ looked sensational wearing an Alessandra Rich white pearl-embellished silk crepe de chine gown from the Fall 2011 collection.
Her elegant draped gown was teamed with silver accessories accented with colourful embellishments, which gave her retro look a contemporary touch.
A stunning matte coral lip colour and a wild curly ‘fro completed her look.

Solange is on fire. She seems to have overcome her crazy period and is now constantly wearing interesting and funky pieces.

Wow, I’m impressed. There’s a smooth jazz song, “Nights over Egypt,” which sprang to my mind when I saw this — the creamy white, the fluid draping, the cuff, the ring, the hair. Wonderful.
My 1st impression was fancy toga costume. but now I’m loving it, she looks like a total goddess.
Hates it. Too much going on. Combination of too much dress and too much hair= too much everything.

Hard dress to wear but it falls beautifully on her body, you can still see she has shape and I love that hair!! The big curly hair doesn’t really suit her facial features but it works perfectly with the style of the dress so I understand why she picked it.
