Gillian Jacobs was one of the few to provide some colour on the red carpet at Elle’s 18th Annual Women in Hollywood Tribute in Beverly Hills yesterday evening.
She would’ve stood out at this minimalist event wearing a Mary Katrantzou Fall 2011 dress.
The ‘Community’ actress wore the commercial version of this stunning multi-coloured floral dress.
We’ve had a few hiccups on the red carpet with stars wearing uninspiring footwear with their Mary Katrantzou dresses, but Gillian wore chartreuse peep-toes, which was a simple yet perfect choice.
A blue Edie Parker ‘Jean Azure Mica’ clutch and sexy barbarella hair completed her look.

I’m in love with this look. That is all.
I love it! The colour, the shoes, the clutch and her hair!
For me, this is BDOTW worthy, because a) I love Mary Katrantzou and b) it’s wonderful to finally see someone pull off her gorgeous dresses! Also, love the ‘Belle du Jour’ hairstyle, adds a bid of naughtiness to the ensemble.
Adore the blue clutch, lovely hair and make-up. The dress itself is just one big multi-colored multi-print mess, and the shoes are just as uninspiring as any pair of safe nude pumps, would prefer a slightly more exciting (but not overly as the dress is very print-busy already) shoe in bright blue or red.
I echo the love. She didn’t let her accessories bring her dress down and I even love the big hair.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS LOOK ! this is hands down BDOTW for me. I definitely disagree with the comment equating the shoes to nude pumps- I never see this color shoe!

I love this, it’s such a bold choice. FC, I know you are super busy and work super hard, and if you don’t already, I really recommend watching Community. It’s 20 minutes an episode so whenever you feel like you need a break to refresh I’d watch it. You will laugh a lot, and laughter is a great destresser. On this note, I will never say this enough: thanks for working so hard to put out such an amazing blog!

This is a definite BDOTW worthy look for me. I love the dress. It is just the kinda dress that would brighten up a dull event. Plus, she did a great job accessorising it. That clutch is to die for!
