Lily Cole posed on the red carpet at InStyle & HFPA’s annual event during the 2011 Toronto Film Festival last month wearing a Giles Fall 2011 dress.
The model/actress teamed her long-sleeved dress featuring Paul Delaroche’s painting of ‘The Execution of Lady Jane Grey’ with a black waistband and eggplant pumps.
Pixie Geldof wore the same dress when she sat front row at the Giles Spring 2012 presentation in London a few days later.
The social butterfly tied her hair back into a loose bun and accessorized with gold bag and black Miu Miu peep-toes.
I love that Pixie wore her hair off her shoulders to show off the details on her dress, but I think this dress works better on someone statuesque like Lily.
Lily’s eggplant coloured heels also complement the dress better so she wins for me.

lilt for me. although i am shocked pixie doesnt look like a corpse for once.
I love how Pixie has grown up over the past couple of weeks in terms of her fashion! It’s incredible! Has she hired a stylist?
Not sure.
Like you said it could just be a case of her growing up
Definitely Lily Cole! Loooove
Eventhough I prefer Pixie’s hairstyle, attitude and accessories, the dress looks tailored to fit Lily’s body so she wins for me.
Am I the only one who mistaken Pixie for Kate Moss in this picture?
On a side-note: I voted for Pixie because Lily’s 2-sizes-too-big shoes irked me a lot.
+1, not to mention the croc briefcase…
I’ll vote for Lily because I like the color of the dress with her red hair.
(Too bad about the boats on her feet.)
