Nicole Richie doesn’t often wear bright colours, so it was refreshing to see her in this citrus hue on the red carpet at the 21st Annual Environmental Media Awards on Saturday night.
Her lemon Keepsake ‘Lost Without You’ chiffon dress with a ruffled neckline and cut-out details at the waist is an ultra-girlie look I wish she would channel more often.
Christian Louboutin ‘Luxura’ pumps, diamond-encrusted cuffs and a House of Harlow ‘Tilda’ antique studded clutch added a slightly edgier touch to her look, as did her smoky eye makeup.
It may be a bit early, but I would love to see this up for BDOTW.

There is no denying that she looks fantastic, but BDOTW contender?, not really.
Really? You all think she looks so good? I mean, the dress is beautiful and yet… Nicole looks bad, the hair and makeup are terrible, she looks really tired.

I love the dress but not the messy make-up and far too blond hair. Not sure about the shoes either.
I don;t like it either.. i usually love mustards/yellow but not this time… i dont like the dress or the styling…. and i normally love nicole richie’s style.
I like everything except her eye liner is too heavy.

I like the dress, shoes and clutch, but agree the makeup is a little too heavy. Her posture is bad in the first shot–better in the one you have below, and better posture sells this dress. With her shoulders hunched in the first pic the dress is not flattering. Much better when she is standing up.

The super unflattering eyeliner aside, the look itself is very cute, lovely but NOT bdotw worthy.
On the side note, those shoes must be really uncomfortable (and a bit big??), her feet are sliding forward, she can hardly even stand in them.

Agree about the colour – looks really good on her.
I don’t know if it’s the angle of the shot but the shoes look clunky and heavy for this outfit (or maybe her small foot). Also, I can’t put my finger on it, but something is just off here. Maybe it’s the bangs. Maybe the hair color blends too much. It’s just not good. And like someone else wrote, she looks tired.

The makeup is horrible and the shoes looks very uncomfortable and big. The dress and clutch is stunning!
