Zoe Saldana joined many other celebrities at the Will Rogers State Historic Park in California for the Veuve Clicquot Polo Classic event this weekend.
Usually the honour of being the first to don a straight-off-the-runway Jason Wu look goes to Diane Kruger or Rachel Weisz, but this season Zoe is the first.
She looked gorgeous as always, wearing a belted petal-print pleated Jason Wu Spring 2012 dress with a mesh yoke.
Her dress doesn’t have the beaded collar like the runway version, plus the hemline is shorter.
Jason’s girlie, feminine pieces are perfect for someone like Zoe who never puts a foot wrong on the red carpet and whose style choices we continue to fall in love with.
Hopefully this won’t be her last pick from this collection.
A side-swept bun and nude Brian Atwood ‘Zenith’ pumps completed her look.

Ptich perfect. LOVE!
She looks really pretty, if uninspiring. This is where I don’t like the modifications. The simplified version, IMO, cheapens the allure of the dress.
I agree. I don’t like the modifications, especially on the collar, it makes the dress less interesting.
I don’t like the modifications either but she does look great.
I like the open collar but i loveeed the mini train.. too bad its cutout
My thoughts exactly. The runway version is perfectly fine for a polo event so I don’t understand the modifications. They weren’t needed and cheapen the dress tbh.
Dislike the shortened version, the flow of the dress ends so abruptly (thus ending the allure of the dress, agree, and turning it into a cheapened cutesy version), feels like a cut-off.
Shes too perfect! Its hurt!!
Love her and her style!
Perfection! Thank goodness a celeb finally knows that Brian Atwood makes shoes other than Maniacs
Amen.
So perfect.
She’s already too beautiful for her own good and then she goes to events looking incredible.
ITA, it’s so not fair.
You’re sooo right.
SHe looks so pretty. I love her brian atwoods
This is one of my favorite dresses of New York Fashion Week. It looks wonderful on her.
