Fan Bingbing continues to be the face of the 2011 Busan International Film Festival in South Korea.
On Saturday she attended a press conference for ‘My Way’ wearing a Giorgio Armani Fall 2011 dress.
This look was easy to indentify as the designer’s face is emblazoned on her knee-length velvet dress.
What I don’t like about this look is the tweed shrug.
Maybe she was inspired by the recent Miu Miu Spring 2012 collection, but it feels out of place with the rest of her look.
I’m usually a fan of whatever Bingbing wears, but not on this occasion.
I feel like she tried to use the shrug to prevent this look being too casual, but it doesn’t work for me.

I think I must be a Red Carpet Fashion Awards addict as I think this was the longest time I’ve gone without a Catherine/’FC’ hit since I started reading the blog almost 4 years ago. Thanks for coming back…fashion sobriety was leaving me with serious withdrawals.
lol…that is so sweet.
Im surprise it’s not ellie saab
so boring
I like the shrug but I don’t care for the dress. I think if this was a solid colored dress that was fitted to her body then this would have been cute.
OMG, this is just AWFUL. I never cared for this on the runway. I can’t believe any wore it on the street. The shrug is painful….The mighty has fallen a bit.
i like the dress. Giorgio Armani is a nice looking man… but i like it for a more casual look. Maybe over jeans or so.
The shrug is not working AT ALL.
A rare foot wrong for Ms Bing Bing – dress alone wouldn’t have worked for me but the addition of the shrug takes this from bad to worse
Faces on a casual tee is okay. But I’m always a little creeped out by faces on dresses. Especially big faces on dresses. I don’t like this at all.
Same here…
I’ll save this pic in order to remind to myself that even Fan Bing Bing has bad fashion days. LOL.
Not her best look , indeed.
Even her facial expression shows that she is having second thoughts about having worn this dress.
DO NOT LIKE.
Fan actually has awful taste in fashion. If you look at her casual style, you’ll be creeped out.
+111111111 about the casual style
She looks really good, all dolled up, but her casual style is just awful.
who in their right mind thinks it is a good idea to put their face on one of their designs?
the dress looks like something from topshop.
I actually this look on Fan Bing Bing. I’m not crazy about the shrug, but I don’t dislike it, either. I think what I like most about this look is that’s it’s completely different from what she usually wears, from the hairstyle to the dress. We’ve seen her so many times in princess-like Elie Saab gowns and cute dresses that it’s a refreshing change to see her in a more casual and edgier look.
This is such a disappointing look for her — what was she thinking! Such a rare misstep for her.
