God what a nightmare. I feel for you. Someone did the same to me: in my case, they inserted code into my site which hijacked my Google searches so anyone searching for LLG through Google went to a Polish downloads site. If you have any issues again, I have a great guy who can sort 24/7 for v small payment. LLGxx

Ohhhh, intrigue. You think it was a rival fashion blog? I don’t know about the UK, but in the USA I’m pretty sure the FBI has a cyber crimes division that investigates these things if asked. That’s who is looking into the celebrity cell phone hacks that included Scarlet Johansen, Mila Kunis and others. You should look into prosecuting them or at least exposing them and see what your rights are.

That sucks — this summer, I was under a DNS attack originating in China. So random. Don’t they have bigger fish to fry than me? Like CNN or the CIA or something?
Since my attack, about 4 other bloggers have told me they experienced the same thing.

Poor you, I’m so glad you got it back! I almost didn’t survive the 2 days without it, so I couldn’t even imagine how it was for you. It just is such stupidity and utter disregard for the hard work and effort you have put in (that goes for heatworld, and their wwib polls, too). Oh my gosh FC, you won’t believe the loudness of the sigh of relief I made when I checked and the site was back. I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I don’t have a website but I’ve been attacked by viruses on my computer because it’s shared with my entire family and they have no sense about clicking links and it was a terrible month for me especially after losing all my data. I’m really glad the site is back up though, and I hope it didn’t cost you too much to fix or anything. We all missed you and your witty commentary so much!! Never leave us, FC!! <3
