Tinsley Mortimer attended the 2011 Whitney Museum Of American Art Studio Party in New York City this week.
The socialite wore a gorgeous Versace Fall 2011 gown.
Her deep-blue one-shoulder gown with a full-feathered train is part sexy, part fun, part divalicious.
Strappy platform heels, a silver clutch and a black clutch completed her look.
A much smaller clutch would’ve been preferred.

Quite fab. Agree about the clutch FC. Is this the same color as the runway? It appears much more muted and I actually prefer it.
I’ll say a smaller clutch would have been preferred! (I knew I didn’t like the look but didn’t know it was the clutch until FC pointed it ou though). This outfit does not excite me in any way.
Her clutch ruins this look.
+1
she obviously didnt get the Marchesa memo
Love the dress but on her its all generic, insert blonde girl here _____.
Would love to see it on someone more interesting like a Zoe Saldana
I love this Versace dress on Tinsley. She knows how to wear the label very well. I love the black shoes and accessories. It made the dress stand out more. I really don’t like the black clutch. It is too big for the dress. I haven’t since her this good since her New Yorkers for Children print dress.
+1
This look is just all over the place, not really pulled together. Her hair is the biggest distraction (beside the oversized clutch), would prefer a sleek updo with this kind of dress. The fierceness of her accessories – those shoes and the cuff – is excessive and overwhelming rather than complementary. The look not done well.
I think we had a pretty great week, lots of amazing looks.
Good luck with making the final BDOTW list !
Love the dress, love the cuff (seriously, that little bit is gorgeous) hate everything else.
how she made that dress look so horrible?
the color, yhe shoes, the clutch
disappointed
looked much better in the model
The dress itself is gorgeous, but I think that it looks rather lifeless on Tinsley, compared to the runway photo. Plus, I think Tinsley chose the wrong accessories for this gown.
she looks too short for this dress.
I loved the runway color more – this rich dark blue is gorgeous. Plus she should have tied her hair so that it would not hide the lovely shoulder strap.
But those are minor tidbits, she looks great.
That clutch size is ridic. I also wish she would have pulled her hair up. Other than that I like it.
It is the exact same dress seen on the runway. I agree with all of you that the clutch is big. The rest complimented the outfit. Tinsley Mortimer is one of the favorite ladies of Versace.
Sudden flahsback to January Jones at the Emmys last year…
Don’t care for the shoes much- she couldve done something a lot more fun, but she does look very good.
the dress looks great on the runway perhaps down to the movement so the skirt billows out, on tinsley it is a bore. the shoes look cheap.
I prefer the version Tinsley is wearing to the runway version. Maybe it’s just the picture but the more muted version is beautiful on her. Agree about the clutch though.
Chic
Have you noticed that she always looks the same? She always has the same damn hairstyle. And I don’t even think it does her justice. She may choose spectacular gowns, but she always seems to make them look lackluster and plain boring.
