Princess Beatrice attended the Elie Saab Spring 2012 show in Paris yesterday – the only show she attended this fashion week.
When I arrived at the show I was told, “Princess is here”, to which I responded, “Fan Bingbing?”.
The person laughed and said, “No, the Princess, Princess Beatrice”.
As you know, I have a very soft spot for Princess B, so I was delighted to see her in the front row at the show wearing a red Elie Saab Resort 2012 dress.
She teamed her dress with black pumps (grrr) and a gold clutch.
Beatrice has worn Elie Saab several times for public and private events, so it’s no wonder she wanted to see the collection up close for herself.
I wonder which looks she will wear in the future.
Here are my picks.

She looks beautiful.
The fourth look you picked – perfect for her !
Agree about the 4th look. I want the others for myself, especially the blue one, lol.
i wish she would have kept the belt on the red dress.
She looks lovely though (apart of the pumps).
Beatrice has better style than Kate and yet somehow this will never be recognised
I agree
I agree, too.
You are so on. Everyone tries to defend Kates boring fashion with the line “But she is a princess, there are rules”, Princess Beatrice has the same rules and she still keeps it interesting. Besides her hat at the royal wedding, she looked incredibly chic.
I do agree. If not solely on the basis that Kate’s style is a non-style. But B does have a very, very good stylist, you know. She got her after ‘the hat’ and hasn’t put a wrong foot since.
She always looks so awkward and unsophisticated. Lovely figure, but I think she needs to get a more interesting hair cut and stop looking like she’s 12 from the neck up.
Very cute, the tone of red is very beautiful.
I don’t like the black pumps…
I hope she wears the mustard strapless gown with glitter going from top to waist. It’s such a die-for gown.
I guess she’s decided to become a full time socialite, attending runway shows and charity functions since she’s got no role as a working royal, and doesn’t seem to be inclined towards getting a job now that she’s done with school. She looks pretty good here (aside from the shoes), she’s in great shape these days. wish she’d kept the belt though.
Would have preferred the color, length and belt of the runway look on Beatrice. It has a 40′s Mildred Pierce vibe to me at this length.
This is a very nice ladylike dress for the Princess B. I would, however, preferred her in the runway look.
