Emma Stone was in London last night for the premiere of her latest movie, ‘The Help’.
This season was the first time I received an invitation to the Luca Luca Spring 2012 presentation during New York Fashion Week, so I’m excited about this look for two reasons.
Firstly, Emma’s dress was one of the looks I posted as a favourite from show and she was also listed as ‘Who I Can See Wearing This Collection’, so I’m ecstatic she actually did.
Her white Luca Luca Spring 2012 dress with black polka-dot embellishments has a keyhole detail, a thigh-high split and cold shoulders.
The beautiful actress wore her dress with black Brian Atwood ‘Teresa’ ankle strap pumps and a black belt.
Red hot lips and side-swept waves completed her look.
Emma is still one of my favourites on the red carpet this year.
No one else has been this consistent, but I do wish she had adjusted the dress to sit on the higher up on the shoulders like the model.

Cute, but not her usual stunning effort imo.
I usually really like her and her looks, but I think this particular one overwhelms her. She has looked much better than this
Oh my goodness, I’ve just had such a shock when i went on this site and it was back to normal again! Yay! thank you for sorting it out FC, even if talktalk were being stubborn! It’s so good to have it back!!
GREAT NEWS, they were very stubborn with me as well
I love that look but i agree with you about adjusting the dress on shoulders. btw do glamour have a wrong info about designer? http://www.glamourmagazine.co.uk/dos-and-donts/style-and-fashion/2011/10/06/emma-stone-at-the-help-london-premiere
This is why I started this site because incorrect guess work like that used to infuriate me.
and that’s why we are so grateful to you and we love you for your awsome taste!
merci x
As I was there last night, I can actually say that it looked a whole lot better on her IRL. Also, the wind had a LOT to answer for… which perhaps explains the adjustment of the dress? Seriously, the poor girl must have been freezing. I was freezing myself and I actually had a jacket on… LOVE Emma Stone.
I can imagine. Pictures never paint a true story
I also think the top part of the dress overwhelms her. But it´s an interesting choice, so kudos for that.
+1
The top part needs to be adjusted. Love everything else though.
i totally agree. it’s a great choice for her and the hair, makeup and shoes work perfectly.
It’s not only the top, the dress is too long as well. I actually think that’s the problem with the top, too. It was fitted on the model who has a longer torso (as well as legs, obviously) which let’s the dress hang off the shoulders completely differently.
The fit is off.
What really bothers me beside the poor fit on the shoulders is her awkward slouching, she does it all the time so badly. She really needs to work on her posture. Lovely hair and makeup, very nice shoe choice.
I was shocked to see this photo of Emma Stone, because I always love what she wears on the red carpet, so when I saw this picture where the top of the dress is totally overwhelming on her, I couldn’t believe she got it so wrong. Then, I saw the other photos of hers at the premiere and realised that the wind makes the dress appear to be so big and awkward on her. So, I think the dress actually looks really nice on her and the shoes are gorgeous!
i usually love her, but she looks awful here!
So so so cute and sophisticated. This is why I love Emma.
I think it is probably to do withthe serious flash, but it just washes her out a tad bit too much for my liking, although in other photos it doesn’t look so bad, so probably just the flash. I also think that the makeup is a little harsh, but hte back of the dress looks divine!
Love this look!!
Maybe she wore it because you suggested it.
Cute
She’s one of my favourites too, so I find it hard to be objective, but she does look a lot better in other photos.
Too much fabric is going on in here.
i quite like it
She looks beautiful!
She looks like she’s being eaten by the dress. Her neck is disappearing.
