Carine Roitfeld In Givenchy – Chloe Spring 2012 Presentation

I saw Carine Roitfeld at Chloe’s Spring 2012 presentation yesterday in Paris.

The former editor-in-chief of French Vogue is, like Anna Wintour, already wearing a Spring 2012 look.

Carine paired a nude blouse with a Givenchy Spring 2012 skirt.

The Givenchy Spring 2012 collection was only presented on Sunday, so that is the quickest runway-to-red-carpet item we’ve seen this season.

Her beautiful white skirt with a satin panel and slate grey underskirt was paired with nude sandals.

It looks like she’s moved on from wearing the same Alaia heels with every look.

ONG! Such a flawless look! Carine/Givenchy combination never fails to impress.
I think Natalia Vodianova takes home the quickest runway-to-red-carpet-item award, as she wore a Givenchy spring 2012 shiny dress at the Givenchy after party, moments after the show!

    Amazing coverage FashionCritic… :)

nude sandals? I have to see another pic, in my computer they look quite dark. She has a lovely figure.
I was looking for the Givenchy Spring 2012… did you cover it?
tnx for your covering of the Fashion Weeks, FC. The pictures you choose and your reviews are what bring me here everyday for my fashion fix!

This is soooo perfect from the neck down (her hair looks greasy)!

You know, I loved the Chloe looks but this absolutely does not work. To me, it looks sloppy – the hair is bad, makeup too dark, and it’s overall a questionable choice for her. The look appears to depend on its flawless cut and shadow-play, with the layering and texturing going on. Roitfeld has altered the skirt and it just looks awkward.

      I have to agree

I agree. She looks sloppy and like she put a random top with a random skirt.

The shoes are reading black on my computer. Would adore it, with nude. Chic and sexy.

  8. It looks like she moved on to wearing the same Sergio Rossi heels with every look.

Her so style is so much more interesting than Emmanuelle Alt.

The skirt is kind of interesting, but that’s about it.

If I didn´t know I´d assume that this skirt is Kanye West´s design, looks plain awful and ridiculous to me. Lovely blouse.

I absolutely adore Givenchy collection this season. Glamorous, attitude, feminism. One of the best I’ve ever seen.

while i don’t find myself bowled over by the entire outfit or how she chose to accessorize it, i do count myself quite impressed that she could pick up this must-have item without some lofty title.

I like it from head to ankles, I don’t like the shoes, but the skirt is beautiful.

  15. Jones19 October 5, 2011 at 10:18 #

That skirt is beautiful, too bad her hair is awful and the shoes are ugly.

  16. Marlena October 5, 2011 at 11:15 #

The shoes are green and she wears them with every outfit now..
