Red Carpet Fashion Awards

Monthly Archives: September 2011

Eva Herzigova attended the Raisa Gorbachev Foundation’s annual party which was held at Stud House, Hampton Court in London last night.

The supermodel wore a Roberto Cavalli gown.

Her sleeveless floral embroidered gown was paired with a Roberto Cavalli fur vest.

Topshop have a vest very similar to this in their Fall 2011 collection which I was cruising in-store recently.

I love the boho vibe of this look. It’s very chilled and relaxed.

Usually Eva is all about high octane glamour, but here she lets her natural beauty do all the talking.

A black Dior shoulder bag, glossy lips and silver jewels completed her look.

Marisa Tomei joined many fashionable folk at Soho House in LA last night to help Chanel and Liz Goldwyn celebrate Justine Picardie’s new book, ‘Chanel: Her Life’.

The actress wore a Viktor & Rolf Resort 2012 ensemble.

As always she wears me out by looking totally fabulous.

She has charisma and panache oozing from every pore, even in what appears to be a simple white silk embroidered shirt paired with black pants.

Her pants are a tad long for my personal liking, but Marisa is working this look from head-to-toe, but I wish she’d kept the bow accented belt.

To complete her look Marisa pulls half her hair back and opted for minimal makeup.

Sonam Kapoor attended the “Mausam” Premiere at Big Imax Cinemas in Mumbai last night.

The pretty Indian actress wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2012 ensemble.

I’ve featured Sonam many times in dark colours, so I’m thankful to see her wearing something colourful for a refreshing change.

Her look consisted of an acid pink bow-tie blouse with a black laser-cut polka-dot flounced ball skirt.

I think this is a very daring look for Sonam and I’m happy to see her break out of her comfort zone on this occasion because I was starting to wonder what all the fuss was about.

I have a feeling it won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I’m interested to see more of her in the future if she continues to switch things up.

A black Swarovski clutch and Sunita Kapoor earrings completed her look.

Joy Bryant attended the Escada Benefit for P.S. Arts at the SLS Hotel Beverly Hills Garden Terrace last night.

The model/actress wore a Jonathan Saunders for Escada Sport Resort 2012 dress.

This is the first time we’re seeing a celebrity wear a look from this collection.

Her black houndstooth print drop-waist dress has a sporty green flash stripe on each sleeve.

I love the dress as it’s so fun and youthful.

I hope we see more of this collection worn by celebrities on the red carpet, I just hope they don’t also pair their dresses with Moccasin boots.

The Jonathan Saunders for Escada Sport capsule collection goes on sale in Escada stores worldwide in November 2011.

Kate Bosworth joined Alexa Chung in celebrating the launch of her new Madewell collection at the Chateau Marmont in LA last night.

The blonde actress wore a Peter Pilotto Resort 2012 dress.

Her pretty blue and white shift dress with a signature digital print was paired with electric blue pointy-toe pumps and an ivory Chanel clutch.

Glossy waves and barely-there make-up completed her look.

I wish Kate had worn a cute pair of Aperlai heels.

This summery dress needed a livelier choice of heels.

Liv Tyler joined the other yummy mummies on the red carpet at the 2011 New York City Ballet Fall Gala, which was held at the David H. Koch Theatre at Lincoln Center last night.

The gorgeous actress also wore Stella McCartney.

Her Pre-Fall 2011 black strapless gown has a beautiful embroidered lace bodice with a black tulle skirt.

She swept her tumbling waves over one shoulder and applied a pretty pink shade to her perfect pout.

Black strappy sandals and turquoise chrysoprase and quartz earrings completed her look.

I’ve only just noticed what beautiful blue eyes she has.

Do you see this as a BDOTW contender?
