Salma Hayek was spotted arriving at the Ritz Hotel in Moscow, Russia yesterday afternoon for the photocall of her new movie, ‘Puss In Boots’.
We all know that Salma wears nothing but brands within the Gucci Group, so it’s surprising to see her wearing this Preen Resort 2012 look.
Her black floral sleeveless button-down top and leather midi skirt were teamed with a black cardigan.
She opted out of wearing the floral belt as worn by the model and went for a simple black belt instead.
For someone as petite as Salma, I wish she’d opted for some heels, but I’m guessing she’s wearing boots to fit the theme of the title of her movie.
Shame it’s not ‘Puss In High-Heeled Boots’.

Hate the boots with this dress.
Or boots in high-heeled sandals? I would have prefered that.
I am not a fan of leather dresses to begin with but this dress with those boots look HORRIBLE. MAYBE if she had worn a shootie or high heeled boots this would have made me like this look, but to me it is still to early in the season to wear head to toe leather, but maybe its already cold in Moscow, I would have preferred her in tights rather than those ugly boots

to be honest, i think she has an injury at the moment. Pictures during the photocall showed her with a bandage on one of them.
But maybe she could have done flats instead of these boots. Too bulky for the dress and her frame.
Yeah, I read today that she injured her foot.
She was sitting on a wheelchair at some airport recently.
THis is a horrible look. Full stop.

Yes she has an inured foot but take away the cardigan and add some ballet flats and this would have looked x10 better

I literally gasped.
She actually tolk off her cardi in the studio and while she sat down you couldn’t see her boots and the whole look was improved big time. I also think she looked much better on TV when you could see the movement of the skirt- it really isn’t as stiff and heavy as it looks.. It is perfectly suitable for the weather in Poland at the moment. But I too wish she had picked different shoes…
The moment I saw the picture I thought: “Her boots look like the ones of puss-in-boots.” Ahahahahah!
I’m not sure why, but I never seem to like Salma’s outfit choices. She’s kind of like a Kardashian to me. However, I do like a lot of Kourtney’s looks.
Salma Hayek has way more going for her than any of the Kardashians–not a valid comparison, in my opinion.

Yes, I agree that she has a lot more going on than the Kardashians of course. But I don’t seem to like a lot of the outfits she puts together. I don’t think she dresses well casually, although I do love some of her red carpet looks. Of course, that’s only my opinion.
Lighter shoes would have helped, but the heavy leather of this dress, which is a bit too long as well, would still weigh her down.
Don’t love this, but I really liked the black dress with the white embroidery that she also wore in Moscow.

Ugh, those boots are so frumpy!! High heeled stilettos and a body skimming leather skirt would have perfected this look. Shame on you Salma!
