‘Gossip Girl’ returned for Season 5 last night in the US on the CW.
It kicked off with an episode titled “Yes, Then Zero”.
In one scene, the gorgeous Leighton Meester looked divine as Blair Waldorf, wearing an Oscar de la Renta Spring 2011 gown.
Her strapless white gown with a green leaf print was teamed with a Nancy Gonzalez orange crocodile clutch.
It’s hard to tell from this picture, but I’m wondering if the gown has been modified as the hemline is different on the runway.
The other possibility is that we don’t see the raised hemline because Leighton is shorter than the model.
‘Gossip Girl’ season 5 will return to ITV2 on October 10.

I just almost died, I cannot wait to watch this. They always get it so right with the gowns.
I just watched the new episode of the hemline is just like the models. maybe a bit shorter but you do get so see a pair of beautiful orange high heels, matching the clutch perfectly.
And she is also wearing an amazing diamond necklace from Cartie when we first see her in this gorgeous gown.

It was shorter on the front. She wore pink (fuschia) peep toe shoes and a gorgeous necklace, which she took off at a point-I don’t know how she managed to do it! She looked perfect! You should see it!
She did look absolutely divine in this dress when I watched the show last night.
The hemline is raised, I could see her pumps (looked purple to me)
FC you can just go to Youtube and type in the episode name and Blair and usually someone will have uploaded the Blair scenes.
I watched the episode, and yes the hemline was the same as the model’s! Yet another gorgeous Blair look.
On the show, the hemline looked similar to the runway, a bit higher in the front actually. She looked stunning.
I saw this episode last night, and I can tell that it wasn’t modified! You can see in other scenes where she’s wearing the gown that the hemline is still the same as on the runway, and she paired the dress with some gorgeous heels that were a similar color to the clutch’s. She looked truly divine!

It’s possibly airing tomorrow at 20:00 on ITV2. That’s what I heard.
Blair’s dress had the same raised hemline and you could see her gorgeous shoes(which were red if I’m not mistaken)
