Olivia Wilde graced the red carpet at Variety’s 3rd Annual Power of Women event which was held at the Beverly Wilshire Four Seasons Hotel last week.
She opted for a sophisticated Jason Wu Fall 2011 dress.
Her houndstooth-print sleeveless sheath dress with scalloped lace embroidery was paired with grey suede YSL ‘Palais’ platform pumps and Eddie Borgo jewelry.
The actress wore her hair in a chic updo whilst keeping her makeup simple minus a hot flash of bold fuchsia pink lipstick.
Olivia continues to slide for me.
The pieces are great individually, but the styling ages her quite dramatically.
Demi Moore was at the same event, yet she looks younger and more modern than Olivia does.

I totally agree with you, FC. it’s a pity, because she’s beautiful, she needs to change stylist.
I couldn’t agree more, nothing wrong with that dress (the pumps are a bit boring but not horrible) but her tan, her hair and make up are all aging her. Her skin looks really bad here too. I hope she brings the fun, young Olivia back.
The ony problem I have are the shoes.
Absolutely hate her makeup, so unflattering – her eyes look so tired. Lovely dress, looks so good on her figure but the overall look is somehow not working, awful shoe choice, hideous hair. What the hell is wrong with her??! You don´t need a stylist to see that you look drab!
She looks old. Not one thing about this is fresh or even very pretty. The pumps are just awful, the makeup is way too thick, and witht he hair and earrings it makes her look a lot older than her 27 years of age. The dress doesn’t work either. I really wish sh ewould change stylists, if she actually has one, because she looked amazing 2 or 3 years ago and recently, by which i mean the last few months, she has been boring.
Apparently she has the same stylists as Hailee Steinfeld, Kemal and Karla. She does seem to have displaced her fashion mojo with recent choices : this is a beautiful young woman – she should be doing so much better.
