Hailee Steinfeld In Versace – Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party

Hailee Steinfeld attended Teen Vogue’s Young Hollywood Party which celebrates the next generation of Hollywood superstars.

She went glam, wearing a Versace Resort 2012 dress.

Her short black and white halter dress with an asymmetrical hemline is a really interesting look for the youngster.

I love the matchy accessories which included neon yellow heels and a matching clutch which appear to be inspired by the lookbook picture.

Hailee styled her hair into a loose ponytail and opted for bronze eye makeup.

I really dislike the eye makeup, but I love the dress and eye-catching accessories.

Very pretty! I like how she added colour to the dress with matching clutch and shoes. Oh, I also love her make-up, very soft and natural-looking.

I don’t think the makeup is that bad but it doesn’t really suit the vibe of the outfit.

What is wrong with natural eye make-up for a 14 yo? And don’t tell me earth tones don’t match what she’s wearing.

she looks gorgeous :D i normally hate when teens go for dark make up but this time i think its perfect :D also i love the addition of yellow which i think is the hottest color at the moment!

I wish only the clutch was yellow. It feels overkill to have matching shoes.
I would have preferred black (yes, I know, feel free to judge lol) shoes to go with this ensemble.

      + 1.
In spite of this, i still like the look quite a lot!

Feels a lot like a neon “pop of colour” overkill to me too. My eyes don´t know “which to catch” 1st.
      Like the dress on her.

I agree, black shoes would have been better, since I don’t like matching shoes and bag. Also, looking at the close up of her shoes, I must say that I don’t like when you can see women’s toes from the shoes…

I love the accessories, the dress I could take or leave. That eye makeup is indeed horrid, too much bronze.

I love the accessories separately but feels it’s too much of a match together!

Love love love this look. She looks fresh and young because of the accessories. The yellow looks great against the black/white.

I love the colors, but I am not liking this current trend of razorback dresses in the front. It makes people’s shoulders look bigger. We’ve seen several “razorfront” dresses like this in the past few weeks.

    • Fashion Critic September 26, 2011 at 18:25 #

      razorfront dresses…I like it :D

      • doc September 26, 2011 at 23:26 #

Razorback??? Is this what they call it in the UK? In America it’s “Racerback” named after the back of swimsuits designed for speed in competitive swimming. A Razorback is a feral pig in America. I’m hoping that’s not the comparison you guys were going for.

I only quite like this look, I think I am just bored of her wearing black, when she goes for more colour or more ethereal it jsut works better on her in my opinion. I’m also really missing th ebelt and I really dislike the shoes, they are just quite early noughties to me, and I think even flat shoes on her, given her age and height, would have been much more charming, though I love hte pop of yellow. I also love her makeup except for the eyes, and her hair.

  20. Sabrina September 26, 2011 at 16:46 #

    So cute. Love those shoes.

  21. Trisha September 26, 2011 at 20:53 #

This dress is much fresher without the belt – it didn’t need it anyway. And the pop of yellow only adds to the fresh effect. But I do agree about the pumps and clutch being too matchy. Would’ve been perfect with one or the other. (My 1st choice would be the shoes. They are DIVINE!)
