Sonam Kapoor attended the “Mausam” Premiere at Big Imax Cinemas in Mumbai last night.
The pretty Indian actress wore a Prabal Gurung Resort 2012 ensemble.
I’ve featured Sonam many times in dark colours, so I’m thankful to see her wearing something colourful for a refreshing change.
Her look consisted of an acid pink bow-tie blouse with a black laser-cut polka-dot flounced ball skirt.
I think this is a very daring look for Sonam and I’m happy to see her break out of her comfort zone on this occasion because I was starting to wonder what all the fuss was about.
I have a feeling it won’t be to everyone’s taste, but I’m interested to see more of her in the future if she continues to switch things up.
A black Swarovski clutch and Sunita Kapoor earrings completed her look.

Love the dress. Dont like her hairstyle. I think the dress needed a lil edge, so maybe slick back hair win a bun.
i totally agree. the hairstyle is very prom….
I would be curious to see the shoes. the look red or fuchsia through the holes…..
I like the top, but I’m not a big fan of the holey skirt.
I think this would look better with her shoulders squared back.
It’s a lovely dress but the skirt looks not so good on Sonam.
Is it possible that I cannot decide if I like it or not? Considering the proportions it seems that she was wearing very high heels. She’s quite interesting, anyway.
I really don’t like dots…so I really dislike this
I think it’s a very good look to me she looks radiant > Greetings Fashion Critic all the way from Aruba in the Caribbean love your blog very much !!
Thank you…have a great weekend
I really dislike the skirt, but i love the top part!
I like it, works for me, including the hairstyle! Fun, fresh, playful, she shines in this ensemble!
It might be a daring look, but I like it.
I don’t care for this dress at all, but if I had to choose, I’d say it looks better on the runway model.
i like this look but not digging the hair..she’s done better in the hair dept. before…also sunita is her mom:)
I like it – I think it’s playful and she seems very comfortable in it. Plus the pink draws attention to her face, which is lovely.
I love it – it’s polka dots with a difference! Very cute on her, too.
I don’t like the line of the skirt —- but she sure looks gorgeous in that shade of pink, doesn’t she?
Love the hair it’s so young and pretty . And love the eye makeup it’s so 60 s . Atta girl ,she’s looking amazing . Finally she s looking like a girl her age ….
I’m on the fence.
i dont like this look but i don’t hate it either i dont knw why. Its probly ‘coz on the model the skirt kinda flares out but looks limp on sonam.
I prefer it on the model, where we see it in three distinct tiers. The top looks a hair droopy. I prefer it an inch or two higher.
All and all a fun choice for the RC.
not my taste i didnt like the dress at all.
She looks very pretty not everyone could pull off this look
