Beyonce Knowles In Roberto Cavalli – “Pulse” Fragrance Launch

Beyoncé Knowles was at the launch of her new fragrance “Pulse” which was held in Penthouse at Dream Downtown in New York City last night.

The radiant mother-to-be sparkled on her big night wearing Roberto Cavalli.

She paired a sequined and sheer Roberto Cavalli tunic with a striped sequined Roberto Cavalli blazer.

Her look was complemented by some globe-style baby blue Lorraine Schwartz earrings.

Comfortable black peep-toes revealed an added pop of orange via her toe polish.

A side-swept plait and pretty pink lip gloss completed her look.

Bey debuted her tiny baby bump at the MTV Music Awards. She doesn’t have to pronounce it now, as the cute bump is very noticeable.

FC, can you do a who wore it better? beyonce’s purple Issa dress is the same one Kate Middleton wore when she was in the US. Kate’s dress was knee length and a diff purple shade. But can you compare the 2 Issa dresses? Tx.

This is way too short for a mother to be. It looks a little tacky as a result.

  3. Raquel September 23, 2011 at 06:25 #

It’s too short for me, pregnant or not. However, I like that she feels confident enought to wear it.

Way too short — not elegant at all. I hate to say especially when you are pregnant but because of the bump you need a little more fabrice to accommodate it.

I saw a picture of her ina light purple or lilac dress. The dress had a V neck, some drapping, it was long and no sequins. she looked beautiful… and classy.
She is very pretty, but this kind of dress does not look too good.

My god, especially without the 2-inch sheer overlay – I don’t know how she walked in it. Entirely too short.

agree with anoyone, I feel uncomfortable even looking at the pictures, the dress is soo short… had it been a few inches longer I would have loved this look

FC Can you post a review on the Dereon collection that took place in London?

poor beyonce must have pregnancy brain, she clearly forgot to put on a pair of trousers.

neck up is gorgeous, neck down is tacky.

She’s soooo pretty! I love this look, it has all of Queen Bey’s usual sparkle, fun and glam. The braid is a nice touch.
I know it’s short but I don’t mind, her legs look great and it’s flattering.

Can Beyonce stop looking so tacky and start wearing some damn maternity clothes.A pregnant lady should look beautiful, she’s tryin’ to look sexy!eek

    • LizLemooooon September 23, 2011 at 15:09 #

So pregnant women can’t be sexy? Wow…

Maybe I’m biased but I’ve seen shorter dresses. Besides, the jacket is longer so I don’t think there was any risk of a wardrobe malfunction here. She looks cute imo.
I don’t like the bicolored hair though. She should stick to a light brown/dark blonde shade.

I love her but this is tragic.

Perhaps, she didn`t take the baby bump into account and those few extra inches of fabric it required 🙂 way too TOO short. Love her make-up, adorable hairstyle.

Too short. Way too short. One little misstep away from a major wardrope malfunction…
    She’s glowing, though. Beautiful.
Wish she would have continued the sparkle down to her shoes, but you can’t have it all, no?

Gotta a gree with the others. It’s a wonderful color and look on her, but it’s a tunic, not even a dress. Way too short for no pants/shorts/skirt! It takes the look to tackytown

    • Lola September 22, 2011 at 19:00 #

+1…she is way too big for such short tunics. The jacket is longer than the tunic which looks weird.

She must have been standing all night…cause there’s no way she could have sat down in that teeny thing!

  18. maria September 22, 2011 at 17:59 #

i love the look, the colour is great on her skin, but i think the dress (which looks more like a top) is a bit too short. How does she sit in it?

I think she looks kind of uncomfortable as a result

    • molly September 22, 2011 at 23:12 #

It is too short, especially on a pregnant women. Black pants would have been a great and much needed addition to this.

    • Hannah September 22, 2011 at 23:55 #

Exactly, regardless of the fact that she is pregnant, this dress looks like a top, the blazer is actually longer than it. I wish that the blazer was shorter adn the “dress” longer. It looks uncomfortably precarious in this photo especially :
