Corrine Bailey Rae attended Christian Siriano’s Spring 2012 presentation which was held at The Vault during New York Fashion Week earlier this month.
She looked beautiful wearing an Alice + Olivia colour-block maxi dress with long sleeves and diagonal panels in contrasting black and grey colours.
The singer accessorized with a tan chain strap bag and a thin leather belt.
Soft makeup completed her look.
Estelle wore the same dress in a red and black colour combination when she attended the Us Weekly’s 25 Most Stylish New Yorkers of 2011 event at Penthouse in New York, a few days later.
The singer accessorized her look with a wide black leather belt, a small black clutch, a cuff bracelet and purple pointed-toe platform heels.
She also added a fun pair of gold earrings with black stones and an oversized cocktail ring to her look.
My vote is going to Estelle. I love her bold ensemble and how her red hair and lips complement the dress. I also prefer how she added fun accessories.
You can buy this colour-block Alice + Olivia dress from Bloomingdale’s in black and white or Shopbop.com in red and black.

They both look horrible…sorry!
Corrine’s dress really needs ironing, but I much prefer the color combination and the more laidback overall attitude
I prefer Corinne’s more casual approach to this dress. I don’t think it’s RC material.
I don’t particularly like this dress but I prefer the red version.
Estelle. I love how she’s working this look
My vote also goes to Estelle. What she did here – she took a rather casual dress to another level and actually made it work – strong, bold, and figure-flattering (and wrinkle-free:))
Well said!
I think they both make it work for each.
