Taylor Swift attended the 5th Annual ACM Honors which were held at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee last night.
The country singer wore an Elie Saab Resort 2012 dress.
We shouldn’t be surprised to see Taylor wearing yet another embellished dress, but we shouldn’t be too hard on her for not stepping out of her comfort zone either, as this nude chiffon cocktail dress looks so very cute on her.
She complemented the gold embellishments on her dress with gold sandals, but opted for silver jewels.
A sweeping updo and pink lips completed her look.

It looks better on her than it does on the model! I don’t mind that she always wears sparkle when it looks this good!
What do you think of the silver jewelry with the gold dress and accessories? Should you mix metals like that? I feel like it works because the jewels are so minimal, but wasn’t sure what others thought.
I person would never mix metals, but a few stars do this
I totally agree with you CB.
This is such a Taylor Swift look
I was there! Saw her on the red carpet…she literally looks like a China doll. Absolutely flawless white skin, miles tall and unbelievably thin. The dress looked amazing on her…the shoes were way too big!
boring as always

+ 4, She looks good but it’s always a deja vu, I’m also quite tired of her expression…
I like taylor, but i am TIRED of her choices, they look all the same!!!!!
+1, nice but boring and predictable!
boring one note dresser and singer
She looks cute but it quite boring.
+1
No matter how cute she looks, I am soooo bored by her. Embellished dresses over and over again…
This is so boring, she always looks the same. Same hair, same dresses.
I don’t follow her on the RC.
From that narrow perspective, this looks well on her.
It’s tough to make an Elie Saab dress look boring, but she succeeded at it here…
LOL……….so true. I think she looks sort of “thick” in the mid-section, as well. Honestly, this is not a good one for her.
She’s sort of approaching the Katie Holmes “Meh Award” factor in my mind. Very dull………
As much as I like the look i can’t help but yawn as she always gives us the same
I will rather she go for silver strappy heels if she wanna mix metals. Prefer a less dramatic lip color too. Nay for me
The problem isn’t just the embellished dress. It’s the embellished dress paired with, as always, metallic peep toes. It’s the cutesy curls in her hair, it’s the heavy eyeliner that does NOTHING for her naturally small eyes, it’s the pigeon-toed pose… it’s everything I can’t stand anymore lol.
She’s my age and she always dresses like Elle Fanning.
I actually like this and don’t find it too boring. It’s not exciting but she looks beautiful nonetheless.
Beautiful dress,boring on her.
I love Taylor Swift for this very reason, sparkly dresses! Very pretty.
Pretty, delicate dress, but those awful chunky shiny metallic shoes drag the whole look down.
She does look cute, so you’re right, we cannot get on her case for not shaking it up!!
I wasnt really feeling this on the model, but on Taylor, it looks great. Her hair and makeup are perfect.
It is boring for us, but I also agree that it’s our problem, not hers. I can’t really blame her for sticking to a formula that she likes and that works for her.
If I knew there’d be people critiquing my outfits every time I left the house I’d probably play it safe more than usual too!
@G, I agree to an extent. I would probably stick to a style that suits me if I were famous enough to be under a spyglass like Taylor.
However, to wear the same thing over and over would be boring to me. At some point, i would probably scream and say enough is enough and just dress to have fun, regardless of the critics.
I just wish she could switch it up more. Especially her facial expression!! It always strikes me a bit as a lifeless expression…like a china doll.
Oh, I completely agree with you there. I’d get extremely bored too after a while; maybe that lifeless expression is really unspeakable boredom!
If she’s dressing like that because she likes it best then I won’t hold it against her because she’s being true to her own sense of style–I’ll just scroll down and look at someone more interesting
I really like her fashion statement
