Christopher Kane’s Spring 2012 collection continued the 60s revival we have witnessed this Fashion fortnight.

Boxy jackets, sweet shift dresses, tailored shorts, midi-skirts, cigarette pants, house coats and mini-skirts were presented, but the real story was the floral prints.

We saw sky-blue floral brocade prints, multi-coloured floral prints and iridescent floral prints.

The red-carpet-ready looks included a collection of crystal-embellished dresses.

Crystals also appeared on tops, shorts and jeans. I expect to see these worn by the editors next season.

The models would’ve been relieved to wear poolside rubber-soled sandals and sporty plimsolls; some were even decorated with crystals.

Anthony Turner gave the models purposely messy updos, whilst Chantecaille applied the right amount of blusher to give each of them a rosy glow.
