Olivia Munn arrived on the red carpet at the 2011 Emmy Awards tonight wearing her favourite designer, Carolina Herrera.
The actress is the first person to wear a look from the Carolina Herrera Spring 2012 collection.
We’re not sure how it this relationship happened, but if I was Renee Zellweger I would be worried that Olivia was going to wear all the best pieces first (of course I jest, Renee gets hers custom-made).
Olivia’s grass green silk geometric jacquard gown with pleating detail and grass green patent leather hinge belt was paired with stunning Bvlgari yellow gold, emerald and diamond earrings.
With hair pushed back over one ear as she completed her look with a gold box clutch.

As much as you like the ladies to wear some good, bright colors, you must be loving this- this Emmy’s night everyone has put on a great showing
I have about a dozen favorites
+1
The dress looks messy on her, it’s not flattering. One of my least fav. Emmy looks
Love the color, but the fit is not flattering. This is on my worst dressed list for the night.
It’s the hips. I want to love it because of the color, but it’s off, you’re right.
Me too – I adore the colour and the style but it is just a little small around the hips (bias cut is not flattering when it is too small). Such a shame as I am so tired of nude sparkly dresses.
totally agree!
Love the color, hate the design on her. I don’t like the bodice on her.
Yeah, the fit is off and *so* want to love it but I can’t.
hideous
Haha. That’s what I said when I first saw this ::shudder::
It’s Tight for her.she had to go a Size Up.
The color is beautiful, but the fit is atrocious and that’s saying something considering there’s a belt included in this dress. I’m thinking though that it’s mainly because Olivia isn’t runway height and the dress wasn’t tailored to her.
Stunning from the neck up–the dress is kind of a disaster, though. I find it pretty pedestrian, even on the model.
The fit is terrible, a shame because that green is TDF.
This would have looked amazing on Christina Hendricks with her red hair. Its a nice look but a bit tight and she looks too tanned.
This dress needs a size up and to be taken up. It’s way long for her and makes her look short and as a result much wider.
The green is nice but not on her complexion. Complete miss on this one. Sack the stylist.
This may be one of those dresses that only looks good on the model or someone as willowy as Renee Z. The fit seems off and doesn’t flatter at all. It looks sloppy here.
It looks tacky! It does not look like a Carolina Herrera dress. I don’t now it its the fit or the hair and make-up, but it’s one of the worst of the night!
BAD.
I don’t like hte dress and it is hideously unflattering, but I don’t hate it. That is probably because the colour was one of the few not generic gown colours we saw, and because Olivia is so charming, and her hair and makeup is gorgeous. Also, I think it is just a horribel dress, it looks better on her than on the model. I feel like she is taking baby steps and one day, hopefulyl by award season, or at least the emmy’s next year, she will be a red carpet knock out.
