Anna Paquin was joined on the red carpet by her husband Stephen Moyer at the 2011 Emmy Awards last night.
They both wore Alexander McQueen.
She wore a black draped gown from the Resort 2012 collection which was decorated with gold embellished details.
Those golden touches were complemented with gold bracelets, small gold hooped earrings and a gold trimmed Alexander McQueen skull clasp clutch.
The True Blood actress continues to be a great unofficial ambassador for the brand.

One of the best – understated elegance, the drape and fit of this gown is perfect for her. Love it – one of the best of the night.
I looks great, but I have to say that wearing a black gown to the Emmys, especially as young as she is, is hardly ground breaking, and for that reasoning, I wouldn’t nominate her for BDOTW or BDOT Emmys.
Her dress is stunning but what I really love are her Van Cleef and Arpels earrings. Nowadays I think this is her best look of 2011, the waiting for another McQueen fashion lesson was worthy.

I adore ador eadore this look. She always gets it so right in McQueen. This is a gorgeous dress, and gorgeous accessories with great hair and makeup. However, I wish just once she would really shock me, since I think she wears pretty samey clothes, all gorgeous, but similar. Usually a jersey or similar to jersey fabric, body-con, usualyl a dark coloru or red, and usually pretty simple. Her best ever look for me was McQueen ss 2010 at the SAG’s and nthing has lived up to that yet IMO.

I love Anna in McQueen – she rocks it far better than Salma Hayek (an official ambassador of theirs, right?) who always looks uncomfortable, ill-fitted and not right. This is gorgeous.
Sookie looks great. The only problem is that this has started a serious skull clasp clutch lemming for me. lol
