Bonnie Wright In Roksanda Ilincic – Rimmel Celebrates 10 Year Partnership With Kate Moss

Bonnie Wright was on hand to celebrate Rimmel’s 10 Year Partnership with Kate Moss at Battersea Power Station on Thursday.

The actress wore a Roksanda Ilincic Resort 2012 dress.

Her long sleeveless nude dress features bold accents of blue and orange draping from the back to the floor.

Bonnie accessorized with a black clutch and two gold chain armlets.

Whilst this dress brings out the blue of her eyes and complements her red hair, there is just too much fabric in this look for her petite frame.

Had she belted the dress she would’ve ruined the clean lines, as it is it overwhelms her.

It really was a no win situation, but kudos for her for stepping out of her ‘Prada/Miu Miu’ bubble for a refreshing change and trying something difficult and new.

She finished her look with swept up hair and pink lipgloss

I adore her, I really do, but thsi is just bad. I feel like so few people would be able to pull this off, by which I mean probably only Tilda Swinton, it is just SO unflattering. That being said, because it is’t boring at least I don’t feel diasppointed with it.

Wow, you’re so right. Tilda Swinton would definitely pull this off!

I would LOVE to see Tilda Swinton in this!!!

On Bonnie it looks horrendous and I also hate the arm-lets…

    She try too hard!
    It is just so unflattering…

Well, I like that she’s done something different, but the result isn’t very good. 1) The dress is totally overwhelming her 2) she appears to have hardly any make-up on and together with the rather dishevelled hair, it looks like she didn’t try at all and this makes things worse for the look 3) the armlets are a bit weird for me, but I think I would like them with another outfit. But here, they look so irrelevant with the rest of the look.

      I agree about everything

This is one of the most beautiful dresses I’ve seen lately. Such a shame :(

She’s not selling it. No effort at all.

Not really tall enough to pull this off. You really need some height to showcase the back of the dress. Also the posture needs to be a bit straighter. It was an ambitious but misguided undertaking for her to wear this dress. The model comes off as regal while Bonnie looks like the leader of a cult getting prepared for the return of a comet to take her to another planet.

    Very edgy. Props for trying!

Not a great look for her.

  12. Amy September 18, 2011 at 12:38 #

She’s short so it doesn’t give that dramatic effect with all the colours… and it makes her look even shorter, combined with no make up….. she looks about 12

  13. Giuseppi Giraffe September 18, 2011 at 15:24 #

She makes me think of a sandwich in this… :P
But I wouldn’t say it’s bad, just a little shapeless on her.

  14. Rebecca Z September 18, 2011 at 19:13 #

    Ugh–what was she thinking?

  15. JT September 19, 2011 at 01:12 #

She looks like an toddler about to go to bed. This is probably the most unfortunate I’ve seen anyone ever look. Cate Blanchet would have been able to sell this. She’s got the height and the right attitude. A garment like this needs someone who is very thin and tall.

  16. galadreal September 21, 2011 at 14:06 #

Cate Blanchet wouldn’t consider wearing such a weird piece to start with. But Bonnie should be commended for trying it on and showing something unusual. Just she’s way to short for it, you need 2meters+ to make that dress work. Guess the designer lives with giants.
