Maggie Gyllenhaal attended the press conference for her movie “Hysteria” during the 2011 Toronto Film Festival on Thursday.
The actress chose a look from Dries Van Noten’s Fall 2011 collection, which is one of her favourite designers.
Maggie’s long-sleeved storm print dress also features a mixed-print bottom half with black side panels.
Only a pair of aubergine heels accessorized her look.
Red lipstick and tousled hair provided the finishing touches.

I prefer it as shown on the runway; shorter and more tapered to balance the top.
+1
it’s the same dress, the model just has her hand in her pocket making the skirt seem more tapered.

I really love this. Only Maggie could pull this off, it’s quirky, just like her. The mixed patterns are super cool
I think it’s a waste of three great print designs. The look that was presented right before this in the show has the red leaf design as the major motif and is much better than this. This is like clash of the titans in dress form. Too much.
I agree. Too much.
i would have liked this dress much more if it was just in the principal brown print. Love it.
i love Dries! she suits it so well.
Usually Maggie and Dries go perfectly together but I’m just not feeling this.
This is just like a maternity top I remember my mum wearing in the 70′s!
May be apt as she looks like she’s expecting baby #2.
i love maggie gyllenhaal and dries van noten – so effortless chic and casual
This woman dresses like my grandma. If this is how she looks in her 30′s then her 40′s are going to be one big, boring, unsexy nightmare.
The dress, unfortunately, wears her instead of the other way around.
It’s feeling very Suzanne Pleshette circa The Bob Newhart Show.
