When I saw Lily Collins on the red carpet at the “Abduction” LA Premiere last night, I was shocked at her transformation.
The young actress looked fabulous wearing a Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 dress.
Her floral embroidered satin neoprene dress has double grosgrain straps which she wears with one off each shoulder.
The dress also has a peplum at the waist to give her the perfect hourglass shape.
Lily appears to be channelling Audrey Hepburn with her darker hair and side-swept bangs.
I love the pop of colour via her Brian Atwood ‘Maniac’ pumps which matched her ruby lips.
This is a super cute look with plenty of personality. This has been a missing ingredient from her other red carpet looks.

really wish it didnt have the straps like that. cant those maniac just die already though. seriously the world is filled so many more attractive looking shoes yet celebrities are so obsessed with these ones.
She looks gorgeous in this, it’s full of personality I agree.
I’m so amazed by this look, she looks gourgeous! I love it head to toe!!
I like the red shoes with the monochromatic dress, but I think the hair and the make-up are ageing her. I prefer her in more youthful looks.
She looks amazing! Reminds me of a young Audrey Hepburn, in fact!
I’m not sure, I feel this look ages her too much…
+1
I agree @Vicky. She looks matronly with the severe hair and dark lipstick. The dress is cute though. I don’t think she’s very attractive myself…
she looks fantastic
her look is a great version of the runway look and her shoes add a great pop of color
I absolutely despite the modification. – the dress does not work with a bare neck.
It would have been a superb look otherwise.
Completely agree. I hate the straps. They look sloppy. Another example of stylists/celebrities fixing something that isn’t broken.
the dress Lily’s wearing is the dress that went into production.
This is lily collins… i thought she was Krysten Ritter!
I think I wouldn’t have recognized her without the title… Lovely and chic. I like the modified version of the dress.
I didn’t recognize her at all. I totally see the Audrey Hepburn.
bdotw?
Definitely a contender.
Super cute. Black, white and red is a classic combination.
Hmm…I don’t know. It doesn’t look like she’s quite in her element on the red carpet yet. But I have to give her credit for not being boring, at least.
love it. you are absolutely right that it channels Audrey Hepburn.
Very pretty, but can she wax those awful eyebrows already? When I saw the picture, my eyes went directly to her eyebrows. They are there to bring focus to your eyes, not to be a distraction.
So excited seeing my BFF looking gorgeous there..
I know I should like this look but I just couldn’t. There’s just too much happening going on with the printed, peplum, and the shoulder. And then she added the red shoes. I felt that it was just too much all at once. The dress is gorgeous but my attention was on her red pumps. But I do love her hair though and that she made an effort.
I love this look on her, the hair is sharp and perfect and I like the severity of the straps. The color of the shoe is perfect, with her lips. I’m so tired of bulbous looking platform pumps, though. I think a red pointy shoe without a platform would have worked better.
