The actress chose a summery coral Christopher Kane Resort 2012 ensemble.
Her sleeveless trapeze top features a ruched neckline and flares out around the waist. It was paired with a matching fitted skirt.
Kate accessorized with black strappy Chloe heels with a chain link in the centre, which I think was the wrong choice for such a bright dress.
I wish she would have chosen something more feminine too to complement the pretty vibe of her ensemble.
Soft, tousled hair and pink lips completed her look.

not the best shoe choice, but i absolutely love the colour of the dress against her blonde hair
Love this adorable summery ensemble, so lovely on her, and the light hair works so well with it. As for the shoes, I`m just going to assume that she was matching them to her darker eyebrows…, and the pink lipstick with coral (???) isn`t quite working for me.
Def. would prefer to see something more feminine on her feet, agree.

I find the heels to pretty okay with the dress, but I get the feminine and maybe something more bright and dainty and = not dull and dark against a very bright sunshine color of an outfit.. At least its not pumps….and knowing Kate (and her stylist) makes wise decisions on footwear. So I guess its pretty okay. But her outfit and her hair….literally took my breath away.
The shoe just looks very stark to me…sometimes the contrast works. Here…not so much IMO.

It’s settled…I am adding a melon-colored dress to my wardrobe. If I learned anything from NYFW, it’s that I need a melon dress and a white suit for spring. Kate looks great.
