The house of Versace has finally released the pictures of their Atelier Versace Fall 2011 collection.
We’ve already had a sneak preview thanks to Katy Perry who wore a look to the MTV Video Music Awards.
I love this collection as it’s a mix of classic drop-dead gorgeous gowns for the likes of Jessica Biel, Penelope Cruz and Angelina Jolie.
Then you have the fun, sexy mini dress for Katy Pery, Nicki Minaj and Fergie.
The collection also pays tribute Gianni Versace; Look 5 especially.

Donatella never ceases to amaze me with these collections. I love how she brought a combination of glamour, oriental and vintage inspirations into this collection. I am lusting over thumbnails 4 and 8 right now. These looks need to be on the Emmy’s Red Carpet, or maybe saved for Awards Season
I was originally going to say I’m obsessed with Look 4…and then I saw look 7. And oh my God, look 8 is TO DIE for. And 10, and 12….If I were a red carpet member, I would be fighting for half of this collection.
The hairstyle aside, very pretty. Would love to see 7 on Pen. Cruz and 10 on Jes.Biel. The only one I don`t like is the very last matchy pink look with a rather prom feel to it.
Oh. My. God. I will be eternally jealous of whoever gets to wear looks 8, 10, 11 and 12 absolutely stunning. Works of art!

Well the model is either way to skinny or it was airbrushed but that aside it’s a mostly stunning collection.
I was thinking that while looking at the pictures. The ninth thumbnail is the worst offender. She’s been photoshopped beyond recognition, so much so that she looks like a human clothes hanger.
Aside from that small issue, this collection is beautiful. The hot pink midi length dress is gorgeous.
All the pieces are great and each of them is strong enough to make great editorial and advertising images. Collectively, they are quite different. Seems as if they were each created by different designers and grouped together to make a collection.
I don’t think Versace will launch an ad campaign for Atelier Versace, fashion houses never do.
4, 7 and 12 are dreamy… Stunning collection.
I don’t know why but I’m disappointed by this Atelier Versace collection. I like few pieces (the gowns and the pink/fucsia one) but the others seems far away from the standards of the past collections. I appreciate the tribute to Gianni Versace but those was the 90′s, now we’re living another era with different style.

that first dress the “i <3 versace" is hideously tacky looks like something lipsy would do. 8,10 and 11 are seriously jaw droppingly beauiful though.

I like 5, 6, and 11. However, a few of the others look like ice skating costumes to me. Sometimes it takes the right person and the right styling to bring a look alive, so I’m keeping an open mind until I see them on the red carpet.

I would die for Zoe Saldana, Diane Kruger, Leighton Meester or Blake Lively in look 5, Cate Blanchett in look 6 or 11, and post-baby January Jones in looks 4 or 8, without black pumps of course

Kinda reminded me of Marchesa, but the difference is that Versace has a origami look whereas Marchesa is papercut – very lacy and frilly. Both are très, très féminins!
I think we have seen more breath-taking collections than this one, but still, I find most of the dresses gorgeous! I especially love the dresses on the 4th and the 8th thumbnail. I think we won’t have to wait long to see the latter on the red carpet.
