Tilda Swinton made her long-awaited return to the red carpet on Friday night to attend her “We Need To Talk About Kevin” Toronto Film Festival Premiere.
The impeccably-dressed actress wore a Haider Ackermann Fall 2011 ensemble.
As you know Tilda and Haider work very closely together, so it’s not a surprise she wore a custom piece which closely resembles a look from the runway.
Tilda’s gorgeous forest green robe-style jacket was worn over ankle-length tailored pants.
She accessorized with a pair of black satin pumps which features a bow detail on the back.
I think that is the most girlie we’ve seen Tilda on the red carpet.
Slicked back hair and barely there (if any) makeup completed her look.

She looks good. But oh how I would have DIED in awe had she worn it straight off the runway.

The runway look is to die for.
I am not really feeling the custom piece, and then with her look being posted next to the runway picture, it makes it look even worse.
I love the runway look. Tilda looks like she is wearing a sack with a belt. Dislike her styling from h2t.
Ditto. Looks plain UGLY to me from head to toe . What are those leggings for, and whatever belted garbage bag she`s wearing, she`d better save it for Halloween – AWFUL styling! Would also love to see the real-looking eyebrows one day.
I agree with Teleholic, she could totally pull off the runway look. I find her outfit a bit shapeless, so I don’t like it.

wish she had worn the runway look, she could have pulled it off effortlessly. either that or i wish she ditch the trousers and showed her legs.
Always impeccable. No one else could ever do this, and she does it with such panache it is incredible. Her shoes are almsot a contradiction, but work so perfecly nad harmoniously with the look.
I love the runway look and hope somebody wears it soon, but Tilda really disappoints me. She looks so washed out and her outfit looks like a too-big bathrobe. Great shoes though.
