Yesterday I was invited by ‘Edit New York’ to check out their luxury boutique.
Located at 1368 Lexington Ave, the boutique offers a luxurious shopping experience in a cosy environment that feels more like a town-house than a store.
‘Edit New York’ carries carefully selected classic pieces from brands such a Carven, Stella McCartney, Rochas, Proenza Schouler, Thakoon, Isabel Marant, Nina Ricci and 3.1 Phillip Lim.
They had a lot of Proenza Schouler bags, which made me realise I had made a wise recent purchase of the PS1 bag.
Towards the rear of the boutique they have a kids section called ‘Little Edit.’
They have Baby Dior, super cute Petite Maloles ballet flats and jewel especially designed for kids by Jamie Wolf.
Walking around the store I got a sense that the type of woman who shops at Edit New York, also has a house in the Hamptons, which is where they have a second store.
Edit also have an online store, EditNewYork.com so check it out.
After browsing they were kind enough offer me a chance to pick out something from the store.
I opted for a gorgeous pink 3.1 Phillip Lim top with an embellished neckline.
