Alexa Chung was spinning the decks at Stella McCartney’s Fashion’s Night Out event at the designer’s store in New York City this week.
The model and TV presenter chose a Stella McCartney Resort 2012 dress.
Her white dress which is adorned with cute black bows was teamed with Jimmy Choo ‘Wheel’ silver glitter flats.
Alexa finished her look with her trademark cat eye makeup and wore her hair in a casual ponytail.
It’s a more feminine look than what we’re used to on Alexa and I’m thankful she didn’t wear grubby boots for a refreshing change.
A similar version of this dress was recently spotted on Andrea Riseborough.

Pretty dress, but the length is awkward.
You make a good point. Maybe a knee length wouldnt have been so bad!
Alexa Chung – the princess of unflattering awkwardness, no exception here -awkward print, awkward length, super hideous glitter flats (why???), messy hair, some kind of weird looking clutch (can`t really see it well). Don`t really remember her looking good ever….
totally agree! if you don’t have good taste doesn’t matter how much money you have, The dress is awful but the thing is that it looks even worse on her!!
Nat – absolutely agree. No points from me.
I totally agree with you! Alexa Chung, what is the allure? omg, I have never EVER seen her in anything that made me want to swoon.
This look is an all-time low for her. Seriously, the woman needs a stylist.
I can’t figure out those shoes… And agreed about the awkward length.
You said it all, sista!
+1!!
I agree with you, Nat39, except for what you think of the dress (which I liked on Andrea Riseborough, even if it was a bit different). It’s so unfair that this girl gets tons of clothes for free, attend great and exclusive events. So unfair. She’s totally tasteless.
Ditto !
horrible outfit. cant she get a stylist? she always looks as if she has raided a charity shop in the dark, which is sad.
Comb. Your. Hair.
Please?
Pretty please?
Just once?
Oh I give up…
I agree, not a good look for Alexa – why are all these young girls trying so hard to look old!
I would never, ever wear this. Ever. But that is how I feel about a lot of Stella stuff. I am not a huge fan of this look.
Let’s nominate this as The Worst of The Week!
She looks hideous as per usual.
I don’t think anything about this appealing…not the print, length or fit. Didn’t care for it on the runway either. Alexa should have taken a pass.
The length of the dress wouldn’t even flatter the most statuesque person so on Alexa, it’s just tragic, her hair needs Jesus at this point and is she serious right now with those shoes? -sigh-
LMAO!
Hates it! With a passion!
As ugly as that dress is, it is more forgiveable on a taller person.
I will NEVER EVER EVER understand Karl’s fascination with this girl, nor the fashion industry’s. She has no style, no class, no appeal. She is horrible in front of the camera and exudes nothing but frumpy, out of date styled looks.
I’m quite sure she does it on purpose. I can’t believe that a girl who basically lives in the fashion business has such a terrible taste for everything concerning clothes, accessories etc.
As usual Alexa never fails to disappoint. The dress is what we always see on her, HiDEOUS
