Tadashi Shoji was clearly inspired by a beautiful garden for his Spring 2012 collection.
The first look was a gorgeous magnolia hand-painted silk linen strapless tulip shaped dress followed by several other blooming dresses in shades of violet, fern green and yellow.
Floral appliqués, floral prints and floral-inspired lace adorned nearly all of the beautiful cocktail dresses and gown which took to the runway.
If you are looking for more than floral details for your Spring 2012 closets, then you could opt for Tadashi’s linen striped dresses or the beaded show-stopping gowns and cocktail dresses which had the magpie in me drooling.
Tiered tulle dresses shimmered on the runway as their metallic embroidered details provided the sparkle.
Key accessories included Joan & David shoes plus Miram Salat jewels.
Front Row: JoJo, Julia Jones, Carrie Preston and Virgina Williams
Favourites: Tulip strapless dress and one-shoulder beaded gown
Who I See Wearing This Collection: Ashley Tisdale, Taylor Swift, Lady Alice St Clair Erskine, Andrea Riseborough, Abbie Cornish, Emily Blunt and Zoe Saldana

In love with the tulip dress, FC…..and I am also drooling over the striped one!
Me too.
Beautiful collection
I love the hair. It’s so fresh and perfect for everyday. And my favorite is probably the one shouldered floral gown. So ethereal.
when on earth did jojo come back in fashion? shes getting front row seats at NY FW????
The one-shoulder beaded gown for Beyonce.
I see it
Beautiful collection. I like the gown on the right
Does anyone else find the choice of models to be a bit odd for this collection? Their angular faces and extreme thinness seems more suited to Rick Owens or something directional and androgynous, but they make these soft, feminine dresses just look strange and unappealing.
Wow every single piece is gorgeous, I want the tulip one and the one on the far right….*drool*
Love Love Love!
ADORE that one-shouldered dress in the first group (third picture in). It looks so incredibly chic.
Love all the drop waists.
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful. Love that flowing dress on the right.
