Lily Cole attended The Global Party launch held at the Natural History Museum in London last night.
The flame-haired model chose an orange Bottega Veneta Fall 2011 dress which features a black lace overlay and elbow-length oversized sleeves.
Lily added a rust-coloured belt to cinch the dress at the waist, a simple black clutch and a killer pair of lime green Prada strappy snakeskin heels to her look.
I like the addition of the belt, which prevents the look from overwhelming her tiny frame and it give the look some shape.
I do wish she had done something a bit more sophisticated with her hair.

agreed.
wish she had done something a little exciting with her hair.
I really like this look, the dress is so cute, I love lace.
A adore this look
same here.
Boy, that belt really changes everything for the better. I like the way it gives the dress more definition and also the way the sleeves are more fitted Love the look.
agree
Ditto
I love the shoes, but not with the dress. Another color of shoe would be better. And yeah, the hair is ‘meh.’ But still overall I like it.
Tried these shoes at Prada yesterday, they’re gorgeous! But the heel is weird
thanks for the ID
Welcome!
Never thought I’d be able to ID something myself, cause usually I come here for all the fashion info! lol
Love your blog, FC!
A ponytail and this would have been perfect.
am i the only one not loving this
You might be–I really like it too!
Not loving it either. Someone, please fix her hair and paint the shoes a different colour. Lime green here …WHY???
Lovely look. The belts really makes a difference and Lily looks way better than the model. I’m not sure about this shade of green, but it’s an interest choice os shoes.
I think the belt really makes the dress look a lot better than the runway version. I wouldn’t wear those green shoes with it, though. The shoes killed it for me.
Looooooooooooove it!
She’s not selling it like Emma Stone did at MTV movie awards but it does look nice (I loved the collection) and like the shoes with it as it gives it a good juxtaposition. Though the hair is big let down.
wow! why does this look SO MUCH better on her than the model?
