Anna Wintour was spotted at the 2011 US Open which takes place at the Billie Jean King Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, Queens.
She wore an Oscar de la Renta Resort 2012 dress.
Her white sleeveless with a navy abstract print dress was paired with new shoes.
This is a first, as the Editor in Chief of American Vogue is hardly ever papped without her favourite Manolo Blahnik kitten heels.
Anna wore her dress with a cream belt, but I prefer the navy runway belt.
I see where she was going, as the belt matched her brand new shoes.

Maybe I’m the only one in the world who thinks that the most powerful woman in fashion business dress quite bad. I prefer the runway belt, too (of course). I’m italian so I don’t like matching accessories, even if I read that they’re quite back in vogue now, but if they’re particularly printed etc. And her shoes… if they can be called this way, I wouldn’t even wear them at home.

to be honest anna dello russo dresses like a drag queen, where as anna wintour dresses like an elegant lady.

The dress is quite lovely on both women but those shoes on Wintour looks somehwhat off…
I think it’s odd that she never switches her style up. It’s always the severe bob, the sunglasses, the kitten heels, and very often a sleeveless sheath. This is why I don’t buy American Vogue anymore: same models, same poses, same looks, all the time. Say what you want about Della Russo, but at least she’s willing to take risks and challenge us a little.
