Louise Redknapp showed off her summer tan on the red carpet at the 2011 GQ Men Of The Year Awards in London tonight.
Her gorgeous blue Stella McCartney Fall 2011 dress hugged her in all the right places, but she appears to be too broad for this look.
The dress has an athletic style top half with a velvet lower half with black side panels.
The TV presenter accessorized with simple black heels and an embellished Bottega Veneta clutch. She also wore a chic timepiece and diamond cocktail rings.
Lazy hair completed Louise’s look.
You may recognize this dress as it has already been worn by Penelope Cruz to the Cannes Film Festival “Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides” Photocall.

I normally love Stella McCartney, but not this dress, Penelope did look good, but both Kate and now Louise look awful so it takes a certain body for sure….
Didn’t Kate Winslet wear the same dress in Venice? But she wore it in white I remember.

She does not look broad backed at all. It is not an easy cut to wear.

This dress turns people into Olympic swimmers with massive shoulders. Not flattering on most bodies.

I’m not a fan of Stella McCartney’s designs and this makes the wearer’s boobs look odd. The only one that’s looked remotely good in this design is Penelope Cruz.
I guess I’m in the minority, but I didn’t like this dress on Penolope–the halter portion looks a little to small on her. For that reason, I think Louise wore the blue version better. Overall, however, I love the attitude Kate brought while she was wearing the white/nude/black version. I think she owned it, and I love the shape it gave her with the black panels down the sides.
Although Penelope is so beautiful I think that Louise’s bust looks the best in this odd sort of dress.
This dress is just plain awful – regardless of the colour or the person wearing it
