Famke Janssen attended the “Bringing Up Bobby” Deauville Film Festival Photocall yesterday.
The actress chose to wear a colourful Marc Jacobs Spring 2011 printed strapless dress.
Her dress – which is a shorter version of the maxi presented on the runway – features a multi-coloured belt with floral embellishments.
Famke accessorized with a pair of red ankle strap heels and a bauble cocktail ring.
I like that she went simple with the accessories but I would have preferred a different shoe in a colour other than red.
Her bright, summery look was finished with lightly tousled waves and flawless makeup including smoky brown eyes.

Beautiful.
I don’t like the shortened length. I also think this might be a shoe swap post contender.
I like the runway lenght more, and I would have loved had she carried the runway clutch, or worn some mustard sandals
I love Famke, but that’s one insanely unflattering dress! Plus the ankle strap is SO wrong!
Nothing works here, absolutely nothing.
I agree… shortening the dress takes away much of the breeziness that makes it great, and the proportions just don’t look right on her – plus those shoes are not at all right.
agree on all counts,no good no way
It’s a gorgeous color – but I don’t like the shoes at all.
ohh mustard shoes would’ve been perfect
drools…so right
+1!!
i could never understand this collection on the runway, and it doesn’t work off the runway!
exactly what you said!!!i couldn’t find a look i didn’t hate from this collection.
the shoes are bringing this down…at least they aren’t black pumps, but still not the right shoes to make this outfit sing.
This is the most textbook case of Emperor’s New Clothes. This dress looks HORRIBLE on this woman. It fits so poorly! The silhouette is just atrocious it’s sloppy! The sloppy folds over the bunch of fabric tied around her…..WTH!? Ugh and the shoes! Her feet look ridiculously long and big and the shoes look so outdated. Like something from the 1930s. I wouldn’t have said anything I SWEAR but people are on here raving about how great this look is!? Just a sip too much of the kool-aid guys….come back to reality.
I like the color of the dress. And that is all I can say.
The runway dress is beautiful. The shortened length is terrible and unflattering. I agree that mustard pumps would have been perfect.
She is one of those lucky girls that can wear anything (even this ugly dress or a garbage bag) and look great! Some are just built that way….
Is it just me or does her feet look huge?
Very odd..
famke is beautiful but this look is a total mess. the dress looks like a cheap beach dress and those grandma sandals..
I don’t like it, but Famke seems to: she actually wore this same dress last month. Her feet look big because they are size 11.
Maybe Famke wanted to look frumpy so her looks didn’t distract from her film: she’s attending an event for her writing and directorial debut.
just bad
