I was just about to post the BDOTW poll until I saw pictures from the 2011 Deauville Film Festival Opening Ceremony in France.
The first starlet to hit the red carpet was Emma Stone.
Our girl of the moment glided down the red carpet wearing a Roland Mouret Maxim textured-silk gown from the Fall 2011 collection.
Her on-trend mustard gown perfectly complements that rich fiery hair of hers.
I’m glad she kept the black obi belt to prevent this look from being one-note.
I also love the addition of her other black accessories which included an Alexander McQueen knuckle duster clutch and black Giuseppe Zanotti sandals.
This look is chic, sophisticated and effortless. She can do no wrong.

Shoes & accessories are outstanding! Her hair looks so shiny and perfect, jealous.
WOW. She looks stunning. Gorgeous make-up, fabulous dress, even the shoes–no idea how she can walk in them, but they are striking. Definitely DBOTW contender, and this has been an amazing week.
This, infinity. She’s my bdotw.
This is the first time I’ve ever thought this girl looks awesome on the red carpet, I lve her to pieces!
Its ok. I dont really like the cut of the dress. It looks like the designer had planned for it to be a shirt, then decided it would be a jumpsuit, and didnt like that so they cut the legs to make it a dress. It all seems like an afterthought. I do like the addition of the belt. I think it helps tie everything together and not make me hate that she used black accessories.
Beautiful!
incredibly well accessorised! wouldn’t change a thing
beautiful!!!i love how she always makes interesting choices stylewise.
Oh oh, suddenly haveing to recalibrate my favorites of the week……..love all the rings and the shoes are perfect, yikes, it’s gonna a be a whopper of a BDOTW list……
Amazing look. Great use of color. I love it from head to toe.
BDOTW is going to be so, so difficult this week. She always looks so amazing, it is really refreshing from young hollywood.
Well the BDOTW poll will be crowded this week and this should make the cut. How beautiful does Emma look. As of late Emma has made some incredible choices and I hope the streak continues.
She looks outstanding. Love the accessories they really bring life to this dress.
she looks AMAZING! love her fashion choices recently
I really like Emma, but I find the whole look kind of blah
+1
BDOTW. perfection.
Divine and OMG those shoes!!! Love them, love her entire ensemble. So chic and lovely. She makes it look effortless and we all know it isn’t.
wow she takes the cake, the plate, the fork and everything along with it!! stunning!
Is it just me, or does her face look AMAZING?! Absolutely flawless make-up… My jaw dropped. The dress is nice but it pales in comparison.
great dress, awful makeup! does bad things to her face.
I love this look! I ‘m so glad that she frequently wears clothes in colors like orange, mustard, brown etc, because I adore the way they match her hair! And those sandals add very much to the look!
Those shoes are fa-bu-lous!
She took it too far with the matchy matchy eye makeup imo.
10 out of 10.
STUNNING! it’s like you said sophisticated and effortless!
the dress color goes so well with her hair color!
mustard had never looked better on red carpet.
god the mustard color is just divine with the red hair.
I LOVE THIS GIRL !! shes beautiful and such a charming actress.
Stunning! Love her shoes better than those on model. Also love the pocket on the dress and that she used it as part of her pose! I just love Emma. This is a girl that’s smart, confident, having fun with clothes (unlike Meryl or Ellen Page) but not letting fashion overshow her talent (well, ’cause this girl can act!).
Meh. I just don’t get her appeal. I think her stylist is one who should be getting all the praise.
There’s only one word to describe this look: Perfection. I also love her make up and I envy her red hair.
Stunning… BDOTW…Go Mustard!!! its always a great colour and it looks divine with her red hair..
This is the first time I’ve been even slightly impressed with Emma. She looks great. More movie star, less dorky teen. I also love her hair red. May she never go back to blonde (even though I think that’s her natural color, lol).
I love everything but the make up!
