Marisa Tomei looked divine as always whilst attending the “The Ides Of March” photocall during the 2011 Venice Film Festival this afternoon.

The brunette actress wows in a Preen tron crystal-beaded dress from the Fall 2011 collection.

Her dress has a silver sequin and bead-embellished black top with an orange artful double-layered skirt, with a pleated front and long slanted front slit.

This is the perfect transitional look to wear at Venice Film Festival.

Everything about this look is so chic and effortless right down to her black strappy Pollini sandals.

The best thing about this amazing look is that I know she will go one step better at the Premiere.

As Carrie Bradshaw in ‘Sex And The City’, Sarah Jessica Parker made us fall head-over-heels in love with Manolo Blahnik.

Even though I’m sure Mr Blahnik would happy send SJP any of his gorgeous shoes for free, the actress was still spotted at a Manolo Blahnik boutique in Moscow this week.

She wasn’t there to shop, as the boutique put on an event in her honor where she met fans and signed the sole of her famous Manolo Blahnik ‘Something Blue’ satin pumps.

She looked beautiful wearing a white Chanel Resort 2012 dress with her wavy hair swept over one shoulder.

It’s hard not to love this two tiered strapless dress with the gorgeous ruby embellished details.

I’ll even give her white Manolo Blahnik pumps a pass on this occasion.

Would you pick this Chanel dress over her Prabal Gurung dress for BDOTW?

Check out some more pictures of SJP at this event over at Vogue.ru.

The 2011 Venice Film Festival kicks off today, and I couldn’t be happier after being starved of glamour for the past few weeks.

Whilst it won’t be on the same large scale as Cannes Film Festival, I am hoping the event will still bring us many BDOTY worthy moments.

So far Evan Rachel Wood, George Clooney and Cindy Crawford have arrived in Venice for the festivities.

Hopefully we will get to see some Atelier Versace, Elie Saab, Giambattista Valli, Armani Privé and Valentino Couture pieces during this event as well as the European Film Festival favourites; Alberta Ferretti, Emilio Pucci and Roberto Cavalli.

Maggie Gyllenhaal chose this Lanvin Resort 2010 dress to attend the “Crazy Heart” LA Premiere back in December 2009.

The one-shouldered silver halter-neck dress features a fringed-neckline, belted midsection and an asymmetrical, ruffled side split.

Maggie paired her look with taupe, tribal-inspired beaded Lanvin heels and wore her hair pulled back into a chic bun.

Shimmery silver eye-shadow and a hint of pink lipstick completed her look.

Rihanna wore the same dress whilst on vacation in Portofino, Italy last week but opted not to wear the accompanying belt.

The singer added a bevy of accessories including Prada Baroque sunglasses, strappy metallic Christian Louboutin heels, a chunky silver cuff on her wrist and an assortment of rings.

She wore her hair piled high above her head in a curly ponytail and donned red lipstick which matched her nails.

Maggie looks gorgeous but loses major points for the unsightly creases on the front.

Rihanna wins for me because of her fun but glamorous approach and the addition of her edgy and on trend accessories. It’s a great vacation look for a night out on the town.
