Marisa Tomei looked lovely as she took to the red carpet for “The Ides Of March” Premiere during the 2011 Venice Film Festival this evening.
She wore a Marios Schwab Fall 2011 dress.
I’ll admit it isn’t quite what I was expecting, but I find myself really liking this look.
I love the colour of her long sleeve mustard gown which has a cream rose pearl drape around the neckline.
The actress didn’t need to add much more to her look, just a gorgeous smile, nude strappy sandals and jewel encrusted bracelet.

Wow, this is something so unexpected. But am really liking the color, and I like the effortless vibe of the whole look.
omg how boring!
very simple but not boring
definetely looks better on marisa than it does on the model.
It’s definitely not what I had expected too. But even if her Preen look was much better , this look is nice too.
It`s an interesting dress, I like it, but it sort of loses its effect on her, in my opinion, ends up looking like a plain dress with an awkward pearl detail. Not quite flattering on her figure, and what bothers me most is her hair, doesn`t look right here at all, should`ve been pulled back.
See I agree with FC. I was kinda hoping/expecting some Atelier Versace but the dress itself looks really good and is a refreshing and unexpected change of pace for Marisa. I also prefer this gown on Marisa than the model, meaning she is doing her job of selling the dress.
I think this is fabulous. Love the color, love how different it is–I think she looks great.
same here. It’s also a different cut for a change. Love it.
I agree, love the surprise of this and the mustard color looks great on her
I agree with you all as well. It something different and she looks great in the dress.
I also agree. It’s a refreshing look.
Meh
great, non-obvious look!
i love the dress, i’ve never heard from that designer but the color is amazing, and the cut, the thing i don’t like is her tan, she looks orange, but the overall look is amazing, unexpected, fresh.
It’s a tad geriatric but I like it
any idea who made her bracelet?
I love it, such a nice change
Fashion Critic, why no detail shots of the strappy sandals and bracelet you mention? We would like to see them too! Otherwise, fabulous look.
I love this on her! It is the sort of dress Cate Blanchett might wear. The colour and fit are so flattering on Marisa and her skin and relaxed hair make her look effortlessly elegant.
I adore everything about this look. I love the color, the built-in accessory, the styling. Marisa looks fantastic.
