Evan Rachel Wood In Dolce & Gabbana – “The Ides Of March” Venice Film Festival Photocall

Marisa Tomei was pretty in Preen, whilst Evan Rachel Wood decided to ‘Man Up’ for “The Ides Of March” Photocall during the 2011 Venice Film Festival this afternoon.

The actress wore donned a Dolce & Gabbana suit.

Many of you might be thinking that Evan does the masculine, androgynous look often, but she does it so well.

On his occasion she teams her black suit with an ivory ruffled lace blouse.

Salvatore Ferragamo houndstooth pumps provide the perfect finishing touch plus they are the welcome antidote to simple black pumps.

Evan swept her red hair back into a slick updo and accessorized with simple diamond stud earrings.

Perfect, from head to toe, she often wears androgynous looks, but she’s so feminine that she totally pulls them off. I envy her skin, so much…

I love her, I have like the biggest girl crush on her it’s insane. Another insane thing: those shoes <333 even the sole is houndstooth!

She looks fabulous and I LOVE the shoes. I have one complaint–I don’t love the length of the blouse–I don’t think the shape of the jacket goes well with a longer blouse.

She looks like Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins, during the Feed the Birds song.

  20. Rahel August 31, 2011 at 23:36 #

Uhh so stunning. It’s a suit but she looks so feminine.

  21. pipsqueak September 1, 2011 at 04:24 #

I can’t believe this is Dolce & Gabbana! It’s a brand that’s often too feminine for my taste (not to mention those garden floral print dresses in their past collections!). But here Rachel shows us such a clean and tailored look. I think her cool attitude gives the clothes even more androgyny. She made me think of Marlene Dietrich in a tux and the word “rebel.” Girls don’t have to go goth or trashy to be different, which is so juvenile and lame. Rachel is different but she still looks smart, put together and confident.

    • Jen September 1, 2011 at 12:22 #

Agree completely. Love her style lately, so much.

  22. kat September 1, 2011 at 22:32 #
