Zhang Ziyi attended the 14th Chinese Huabiao Film Awards which was held in Beijing, China this weekend.
The actress was the belle of the ball as she looked breath-taking wearing a Tom Fall 2011 gown.
Her long sleeve black floral Chantilly lace gown with a built-in bralette has a beautiful beaded detail around the waist.
I wasn’t particularly crazy about this collection, but Zhang Ziyi really brings this gown to life.
With her hair pulled back into a signature bun, she accessorized with dazzling silver earrings and a black Bulgari minaudière.
Zhang Ziyi is perfection from head-to-toe.
She will most definitely join Beyonce and Sarah Jessica Parker in the BDOTW poll.

I agree that this is one of the few Tom Ford looks that translated well on the red carpet! She looks amazing!

Same. I like the bottom half but not the top. I think it’s the seam on the sleeves that make her shoulders look huge.

This look is lackluster to me because I saw Lady Gaga in it and she looked FREAKING AMAZING and I just think that Zhang doesnt breath the life into this dress that it needs.
I adore Ziyi, but outside of her, there’s just nothing to like here.
Honestly, I am more interested in the hunky piece of manly meat under her arm.

is it just me or did anyone else get deja vu? it looks so much like the zac posen gown the chrisitina ricci wore to the met ball…..i would choose the zac posen a million times over this though

She’s looking beautiful but I think the sheer top half looks a bit trashy.
I actually don’t like it, maybe becase she isn’t creating the drama that is in the official tom ford photo, even though it looked better in the other getty images, where she was by herself, but it just doesn’t work so well for me. I think it needed the runway details, like the bow aroudn the neck detailing and all of that, because it is too sheer and for me makes her shoulders and arms look very untoned and very broad, which is so unflattering given the amazing shape she is in, so overall I am not too impressed.
I`m def, missing the drama of the model`s look – esp. the dramatic red lips and eye makeup! The missing detail around the neck makes it too plain and unflattering, quite unflattering in the bust area as well.
I like it overall but not much, wish it was more dramatic with a dress like this.

I fell in love. Very pretty dress but I think that she should have chosen red lipstick. It works better with the dress.

Not impressed. She looks flawless, as usual, but the dress does nothing for me. I don’t like it on the model either. The top just bothers me with that sort of bra thing.
