Tonight is turning out to be a very somber red carpet at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
Zoe Saldana wore a Barbara Bui Fall 2011 LBD.
Her tweed mini dress was embellished with gold and silver military-style details and leather panels.
Judging by the runway this wasn’t supposed to be a top, but Zoe uses the tunic to showcase her slender legs.
Zoe accessorized her mini with Barbara Bui snake-skin heels, a black clutch and Lorraine Schwartz jewels which included diamond
 earrings, a diamond 
Elephant
 ring,
 a black 
Sapphire
 and
 diamond
 bangle plus a yellow
 gold 
and onyx bracelet.
A chic updo and smoky eyes completed her look.

this looks so good. as you say effortless. plus she is not one of the big stars of the music scene so i find it apropriate for her. And those shoes are AMAZING.

Gorgeous! She is a welcome addition to any red carpet. Even when she gets it mildly wrong (ahem balmain) she is still dressed better than most and just does it with such, as you say, ease and elegance. And she always never wears black pumps, which, with the exclusion of katie homes hideous, ghastly, awful footwear of choice tonight, is never a bad thing.
I think Zoe can do no wrong in my eyes. She looks great everytime.
now, this is the zoe we love…..such a welcome return back to her effortless fantastic-ness.
