Most Expected Award
The 2011 MTV Video Music Awards wouldn’t be the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards without at least one Falguni & Shane Peacock dress on the red carpet.
I think it’s the law as far as this event is concerned.
Kelly Rowland donned this gorgeous creation from the designers Fall 2011 collection on the red carpet tonight.
So far there have been a lot of black looks, but I do love this one.
The gold embroidered dress with a feathered skirt and leather harness-style detail wrapped around her waist is the perfect sexy, confident look I would expect from Kelly.
Her look would’ve been significantly better if Kelly had opted for a better hairstyle (when will she retire that awful wig?)
Christian Louboutin Lady Peep Spikes peep-toes and a black clutch completed her look.

The dress is beautiful and her body looks amazing, also she made a better shoe choice than is typical for her.

Definitely top candidate for MAWOTY (most annoying wig of the year). With a different hairstyle this look would’ve been a knock-out for sure.

Ths could have easily been a photo from thre eyears ago, or maybe even more. I wish she would try something slightly new, ti woudl be refreshing. At least she isn’t wearign super heavy, super clunky black ankle boots.

She trying hard and while I like her dress, she could use a little more polish. I agree about her hair — she needs a better look. It literarly falls flat on her. Nice to see her in the public eye again. I’ve always liked Kelly and love her voice.

The hair and makeup is making beautiful Miss Rowland look drag queenish and she is nothing drag queen like at all. She is sophisticated so should be styled accordingly xx
