Burberry Brit Award
Adele was a big winner last night at the 2011 MTV Video Music Awards.
She took home several of the top honors wearing a Burberry black dress
Her dress with a decorative colourful neckline was paired with elegant black pumps with a gold trim.
She opted voluminous 60s style waves and dark, smoky eyes.
What a beautiful, sophisticated way to fly the flag for British talent.

i am in awe of just how good she looks.
I think she was the most elegantly dressed songstress there…and probably the most talented too.
I don’t think it was probably… I think she was the most talented artist. And amazingly enough she sounds the same way live that she does on her album!

Adele is really pretty.The dress suits her but it does bore me.Anyway such worthy winner and as you said she’s a wonderful British ambassador.

I really love everything about Adele. I ditto that she is a wonderful British amassador! A classy girl for sure. The only thing I didn’t love about her look was her hair–Don’t think it is that flattering.

Not a fan of black dresses in general, as they are quite boring, but her hair and makeup is impeccable.
SO bored byt hedress and even thepumps, though they are much, much prefered to regular black pumps, but I wish she woudl excite me on the red carpet one day. I get that she likes to be subtle adn quiet and whatever in her dressing, but black is just so boring (Julia Roberts, that goes for you too). It is sad because she is one of hte few people who can pull off hair with so much volume, and her makeup is always the best on the red carpet.
She looks like she belongs in the movie Hairspray. I love Adele, but just can’t love this look.
Impeccable makeup and hair, as usual, very classy, as alays, but the whole look ages her a little.
Too much liner, too much hair, boring dress that does nothing for her and ages her well. Am I the only one who doesn’t like it?
I love her signature liner and the ever revolving door of 60′s hairstyles but I wish she would go out of her black comfort zone for once. She looks beautiful though.
I actually love this look because it’s “very Adele” – pure, demure, stylish and elegant. At first I thought she was holding a cigarette in her right arm and I was in shock. But, luckily, I’ve realized it’s only a part of the MTV VMA sign.

The dress is not bad, but I just think the bouffant hairdo makes it look too housewife-y & frumpy for the occasion.
