Retro Style: Dita Von Teese’s Floral Print Vintage Dress & Dolce & Gabbana Bag

With the weather so bad in London Dita von Teese reminds me that it is in fact still summer.

She looked glorious wearing a bright floral print dress with a magenta turban which gives her look a distinct retro vibe.

The inspiring vintage look was paired with some modern accessories which included green bow front Christian Louboutin heels, which perfectly complemented her dress, and a white lace Dolce & Gabbana ‘Miss Sicily’ top handle bag.

On a quiet week this is definitely a BDOTW contender.

I always admire Dita for never being caught looking like she just rolled out of bed. The heels are my favorite.

Love it, love it. Definitely BDOTW worthy imo.

Oh she looks so good!! Love her turban and mules — so complementary to her dress. And the dress was made for her… just wow!

Miss Von Teese, we can always count on you! Thanks!

I love her consistency and her style! But sometimes I just think how exhausting it is to maintain this image ,and she gets extra points for that

is this the 1960’s mad men style of dress ??? I love love love this style.. so feminine..

  7. TeaAtTwo August 26, 2011 at 03:39 #

I love the turban and those shoes are divine.

Well, Im mos def going to be minority on this one: I don’t like this look one bit.

Its an amazing dress she is wearing… But the print! And then everything else so matchy-matchy to suit that same flowery print! At least if she had stuck to one colour, but its green shoes to go with the leaves, magenta turban to go with the flower and possibly magenta nails and lips too although I can’t tell if it’s exactly the same colour (Im hoping not). In my opinion it even makes her look way older than she is.

Not getting my vote for BDOTW. On a good note, loving the sunglasses.

Dita never backs away from going the distance on an outfit, which is why always love her style!

See? I love this. Seeing people dressed to the nines in fall wear just makes me feel hot.

    • Valeria August 26, 2011 at 05:04 #

I’m just waiting for someone to start the trend of jumping back to fall 2005 and wear it! And his fall by far is waaaay to dark-looking

I love that dress! She has such a great style and rarely makes a misstep when it comes to fashion. Definitely a BDOTW contender!

Lovely, super clean and polished to a sterile perfection as usual. Love the green shoes with this dress, the refreshing summery print, and the cute turban makes it interesting. Def. a BDOTW contender.

flawless. i love that she makes an effort to dress up even if it is going to the shop, it looks stylish and chic without being too cheesy. <3 the bag too die for.

    • Valeria August 26, 2011 at 05:05 #

Unfortunately, it only doesn’t look cheesy on Dita because selye is so consistent

    Hate the turban

Even during the most competitive of weeks, this would be a best dressed contender for me. This is the best that I’ve seen her look in a long while. Less Jenny Packham sparkle, more vintage chic Dita. Well played.

I just LOVE Dita! She has a great taste and an impeccable style. Style wise, this woman is pure perfection.

  20. Kuzeika August 25, 2011 at 17:46 #

Hm.. To my taste, she looks as if she’s trying to hard.. These ideally matchy-matchy shoes – come on, it’s just a stroll in a street!

    • Vidhya August 26, 2011 at 04:15 #

yeah..she does tend to over dress.. liking and admiring Dita comes after you get over the fact that she probably wears stillettos to the bathroom.. and then you say, wat the hell.. she looks damn awesome for me to care where she s going 😉 😀

  21. dee August 25, 2011 at 17:22 #

Cute. I love Dita’s retro style.

  22. Chrysa August 25, 2011 at 17:22 #

I think I’m in love…! Undeniably chic once again!

I agree, BDOTW. Dita is always worth a watch both on and off the red carpet, style-wise.
