Movie buff Olivia Palermo attended the New York screening of “Our Idiot Brother” which was held at the MiMA Tower last night.
The star manages to help me get out of my Zoe’s red carpet disaster funk, by looking absolutely fabulous wearing a Tibi Fall 2011 ensemble.
I much prefer her Tibi cobweb lace print ‘Easy’ blouse and pants over the multi rose colour on the runway, as her electric blue version is more vibrant.
She added a delightful pair of Giuseppe Zanotti crystal embellished sandals and a stunning sapphire encrusted necklace which really pulls the whole look together.
The ‘Queen of Accessories’ picks the perfect pieces again.
Sleek straight locks, pink lips and a rose pink clutch completed her BDOTW worthy look.
Do you love this as much as I do?

I do!
Oh yes, I love this! The blouse, the pants, the shoes, the bag, the necklace, and aaah, is that red nail polish on her toenails?? Perfection!
perfect
hard to do this piece right me thinks….
Totally. It’s not as easy as she is making it seem
Yes she definitely makes this look effortless which is what I love about her.
I agree BDOTW
Definitely gorgeous, – the blue is perfect. But overall, she just glows (and I would give my something-or-other to have her hair!)
Lovely…
Wow, I can’t believe she managed to pull off this look. She looks amazing.
That’s definitely something I wouldn’t dare to put on, but then again she looks so effortlessly gorgeous! And you have a typo in the title, it’s Palermo, not Palmero.
thanks….
On anyone else i fear this would have gone terribly wrong. Olivia knows how to accessorize to perfection.
This is a very cute look, but I think the necklace is unnecessary. There’s too much going on with the top, so that the necklace doesn’t add anything to the look.
Looove!
I love it.It’s daring, stylish, different and Olivia just wears it so well with the perfect accessories.BDOTW for sure.
I thought it might be the blue that bothered me, but it’s really the cut of the shirt. I love the idea, but I would have preferred a more fitted top or, at least, the see-through effect would need to be more prominent.
I agree. Something just isn’t right about it.
Love it. BDOTW contender.
BDOTW contender for sure..She knows how to play with fashion and makes every look her own!
i love it. It’s also a different look, not the typical dress or separates for the red carpet.
She does look effortless and beautiful in a difficult outfit to pull off, but I do want to pull her hair back and up…..it would be nice to see Olivia’s neck sometimes as she does tend to jut her head forward a bit which can make her neck seem shorter than it is……
movie buff? More like attention seeker trying hard to be famous for nothing. Why is the girl invited to every New York premiere? Oh it’s because she’s a rich spoiled brat who used her money to hire a powerful publicist so she can be famous for showing up on red carpets. “Celebrities” like her are what’s wrong with today.
Point, however, this is a fashion blog anyways so if she dresses fabulous all the time, she will be featured. No matter how she ended up on the red carpet.
Too oily….
I agree that she is presenting this look very well, but I have one quibble–I think it is too long waisted for her–the low waisted pants make her legs look short and her torso too long.
I love Olivia’s dress sense. She always looks so well put together, with a friendly and easy smile. Us lesser mortals can only aspire to achieve such perfection one day…getting snapped by the sartorialist seems to be a dream of mine lately!
I have a question though – Olivia lines her eyes as much as our Duchess Kate, so why the big fuss about Kate’s eyeliner being too heavy?
it’s all about the fashion, and she looks stunning once again, so stylish!
Stunning look, works for her that’s what is most important
It’s all too much. If she wanted to wear the top she should have worn a different bottom, and vice versa. And that necklace with that top? They are both competing against each other, and neither is doing the other any favors. Poor styling all around on this outfit. Add in the rhinestone overload shoes and you just have a hot mess. Nice hair though.
BDOTW contender for me.
I suppose I’m the only person who just doesn’t get Olivia’s style. I’m never really blown away by her accessories, but maybe I just can’t get past her matronly outfits. I would say she’s best dressed if she were in her 40s or 50s, but as a 20 something, I just don’t care for her outfit choices. And someone please pass her some blotting tissues
FC this is the only one time i can’t agree with you!normally i adore Olivias style its just not working for me at all here
