After your reaction to the last Dolce & Gabbana star print post I was tempted not to post this, but it’s my fave Fan Bing Bing.
The actress attended a L’Oreal Paris event in Beijing, China on Friday looking gorgeous wearing a Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 dress.
Her white and black star print dress with a peek-a-boo black lace bra is a re-run.
We first saw this form-fitted star print dress on Zoe Saldana during Cannes Film Festival.
The only downside was Fan Bing Bing’s favourite black pumps which I’m starting to tire of seeing her wear with everything.
On Saturday Fan Bing Bing wore her second Dolce & Gabbana Fall 2011 star print look to the New Weekly magazine 15th anniversary celebrations in China.
The blue billowing maxi dress seems to overwhelm her plus it’s shapeless making her appear wider around the waist.
With so much fabric maybe she should’ve also tied her hair back.
This isn’t one of my favourite Fan Bing Bing looks I have to say.

Even though this print has run its course I do like the black and white dress. The other one is just okay. It looks like a beach coverup.
Zoe wore the first dress better and the second look is just a big hot mess. She’s starting to lose her red carpet spark.

i love the first look and i hate the second, as for the stars i will disregard that they even exist from now on
1. Avoid doign a re-run of anything Zoe Saldana has every worn, she looked incredible in it, incrediblle, an dunfortunately not even darlign Fan Bing Bing, especialy with her shoes, lives up to it.
2. It could have been worse, she could have worn the bum-bag / fanny-pack.
You did right in posting this… the first look – she looks fabulous… the second one is just ok ok..

last year it was the wet-look tights driving me batty, because it was everyone including their mums and grandmums wearing it. LITERALLY. GRANDMUMS.

She is absolutely geogeous! Love both her outfits.
I guess this is what happens when people jump ahead seasons and try to be the first to wear something. Coupled with stylists and stars wanting to get the most for the least and jumping at the chance for free stuff, you end up with everybody wearing the same thing. It cannot be coincidental that this collection and others like gucci have been seen everywhere and on everyone and other collections are completely ignored. The only conclusion that I can come to is that they are getting the clothes for free. Anyway, everybody brace yourselves cause Beyonce is on the cover of American instyle in a star dress. There are a lot of great pics I side. And the infamous gucci collection is featured too!

There are two possibilities (which sort of are the same thing in the end): either they’ve watched Herve Leger a little too closely OR one of HL’s PRs now works for Gucci. But I do think we’ve reached the point where they may start damaging their brand a teeny bit with over-exposure.
(Yes, I clicked again! My new theory says that nearly all of those star dresses have been worn, most of them even repeated, and we – they – will run out of them soon so it can’t be that long now.)
I really like the first look and I actually don’t mind the tights, since it’s a black and white outfit. I also like that the bra isn’t as exposed as it is on the model, because it would have looked really tacky. The second look is nothing to get excited about…
Love the 1st look – she looks gorgeous – lovely petite silhouette, great length, beautiful feminine waves (glad she went for the loose wavy hair unlike the model). The pumps maybe overused but they work well, and Yes! I`m happy she did not wear them ON TOP OF SOCKS !!
I will ignore the 2nd look.
First look is nothing special to me. I like the star print but it’s been done better albeit overdone. I like her second look although it would be much better with some sort belt. Looks like I’m alone on this one!
I think Fan Bing Bing looks better than Zoe Saldana in this dress. She is more curvy, so she fills out this dress beautifully. I love her whole look. Zoe, I feel, is too skinny to wear this dress. She looked quite bony. I agree with you on the second Dolce outfit, Katherine.
i really like the first look and the second look is best only on the runway,i don’t like the way Fan wore it.
I love the first dress, even if the shoes are too heavy.
